Over the past decade, Helena has guided ambitious students through the highly competitive admissions landscape to secure spots at the world’s most prestigious universities. Her philosophy is simple: Ivy+ admissions is not a lottery—it is a masterclass in narrative crafting, strategic positioning, and maximizing institutional fit. In 2016, she earned over $500,000 in scholarships and admission to Stanford, Harvard, Yale, MIT, UC Berkeley, USC, and UCLA. She graduated from Stanford University with Distinction (Class of '20) with a multi-disciplinary background spanning creative writing, education, and neuroscience, and recently completed a second master's degree. Beyond her sweeps, she won some of the most competitive national honors in the country, including the Beinecke, Gates Millennium, and QuestBridge National College Match Scholarships. Because she unlocked these doors herself, she knows exactly what elite selection committees look for. She works closely with students to uncover their unique strengths and project a powerful personal image through their essays. Helena's Track Record: Her students have earned admission to their top-choice schools, including Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Columbia, UPenn, Pomona, Johns Hopkins, Rice, USC, UC Berkeley, and UCLA. Who She Works With: ⊛ Ivy+ & Top-20 Hopefuls: High-achieving students looking to transform strong stats into an undeniable, cohesive application narrative. ⊛ Elite Scholarship & Fellowship Applicants: Students aiming for full-ride institutional match programs or highly selective national fellowships. ⊛ Bespoke Strategy Seekers: Families wanting 1-on-1 mentorship from an industry veteran who understands the nuanced realities of modern holistic admissions.

On paper, I am a Princeton college graduate, and a Stanford MBA graduate - as well as the less conventional qualification of being an admitted Ph.D. student in Anthropology at UC Irvine. More importantly to me, I grew up in a working class community, and applied to these programs with few paths tread ahead of me to set an example. For that reason, I'm passionate about working with students who are developing their voice and narrative in the application process - because with such competitive programs out there, anyone can often feel like an underdog. To date, most of my coaching has been with low-income students who have lacked extensive resources, so I am most supportive in framing narratives in ways that hint at the unique, if sometimes scrappy, qualifications of a student. I like to focus on the whole picture that an applicant brings to the table, from individual traits, to passions, to family background - alongside all the standard materials an application holds. Looking forward to working with some of you out there!
