Drawing on more than 15 years of coaching and tutoring experience, I help students use AI ethically for research, learning, and standardized-test preparation while developing essays that sound unmistakably like them. My students have earned admission to institutions including Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Duke, UChicago, NYU Stern, and Georgetown. My approach is highly bespoke: I take the time to understand each student’s ambitions, strengths, challenges, and working style, then build a strategy around what they actually need. That may include academic and extracurricular positioning, SAT or ACT preparation, school selection, application planning, scholarships, interviews, and intensive essay development. Rather than handing students a generic formula, I provide a trusted, one-stop partnership that helps them produce stronger applications while becoming more confident researchers, writers, and thinkers.

My name is Alexia Godron, and I'm a J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School. I've always been very passionate about helping people reach their full potential, particularly when it comes to education! I also have significant experience in tutoring and coaching - I've worked with high school students in college admissions coaching for three years, volunteer as an alumni interviewer for Yale University college admissions, and tutored French and Greek for over 4 years (including at the Yale Center for Language Study). I also bring experience from working in university Disability Services, where I supported college students in navigating complex systems, advocating for themselves, and accessing the resources they needed to succeed. That work gave me a deeper understanding of how colleges really work—and what helps students thrive once they arrive, not just what helps them get admitted. My goal as a coach isn’t just to help you submit strong applications. It’s to help you feel confident, informed, and in control of your educational journey every step of the way.

As a Harvard Business School MBA candidate and Northwestern University alum, I bring a unique perspective to college admissions coaching, especially for those with interests in sports management, journalism/media, economics or history. I've been building and investing in companies for the past decade. After graduating from Yale, I had a couple stints in consulting and global health before finding my way to startups. I started two companies, one a surplus food marketplace and the other in office management software. Neither was extraordinarily successful, but gave me a taste for helping companies go 0-1 and allowed me to meet some exceptional founders and builders. I started angel investing, realized I enjoyed investing/advising, and went to Wharton/Lauder with the intent of exploring venture capital (and to get better at Chinese). While in business school, I met Contrary and started working full time while still in my 2nd year. After graduating, I stayed on, became a partner 1.5 years in, and led deals in a number of great companies (Orchard Robotics, Nomic, Endeavor AI, etc.). I transitioned to a board partner/advisor role this past summer and have spent most of my time since helping build companies and continuing to angel invest. My angel portfolio includes companies like Ramp, Warp, Clara, Slingshot AI, and many others.

Luckily for you, I have been through the pain of school applications and selection processes more than once. I have earned my bachelor's degree and am working on a Doctor of Dental Surgery and pursuing approval for a Master's in Public Health. Getting accepted to a top university was my dream growing up, so when after being accepted to all the UCs, and eventually attending UC Berkeley, I knew I wanted to help others reach their higher education dreams as well. Since high school, I've taken opportunities to tutor and mentor others and even when I started my career in entertainment, I was an academic tutor, helping students with their grades, test prep, and college applications. With SAT scores and college acceptance becoming increasingly competitive it's important while applying to be confident in oneself and communicate a story that stands out. This is my skill. As a mentor and tutor, my goal has always been to support my students beyond just academics. I work with my students on building sustainable life skills that boosts their confidence and helps them "unpack" their story. Then, as a coach, I help my students with communicating their story, knowing in particular what schools are looking for. I've thoroughly enjoyed helping my clients reach their academic goals and more importantly, build their confidence so they can succeed in all endeavors.

I am a full-time professional college guidance advisor with an accumulated thousands of hours in research on top trends facing college applicants. For class of 2024, students that have gone through my curriculum have already been admitted to top schools like Northwestern, Colombia, and Yale to name a few. I offer wraparound services so that you are prepared for every part of the application process, from initial college search to the first direct deposit.
