I graduated from Yale University as a Global Affairs major, magna cum laude, and have an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where I was an Arjay Miller Scholar in the top 10% of the class. My background includes serving as Co-President of Women in Management at Stanford, where I supported women-focused admissions programming, and as an alumni interviewer for Yale University. With experience in private equity and leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, I have a deep understanding of what top undergraduate programs, business schools, and companies seek. I've supported coaching clients in crafting compelling applications and navigating the competitive admissions process. As an immigrant to the US educated entirely in the public education system, I independently navigated the application and admissions processes for American undergraduate programs (without any coaching!) I applied to twenty universities (Public & Private) and succeeded in being admitted nearly everywhere I applied, including several Ivy League colleges like Brown, Dartmouth, Yale, as well as Stanford. While I was applying to colleges, I was also applying to many scholarships offered by universities and external scholarships, before ultimately deciding to attend Vanderbilt University, where I received a full merit scholarship. During my time at Vanderbilt, I applied to and received various additional scholarships to fund study abroad and international work experiences, including a FLAS fellowship and the Fulbright program (which I declined due to an offer to join the UN). Most students know what they've done. Very few know how to tell you who they are. That's where I come in. I've spent my career at the intersection of admissions and storytelling. I ran the admissions committee for Seaver College at my alma mater Pepperdine, where I was one of the youngest Associate Directors of Admission in the country. After attending The University of Chicago Law School, I served as the Director of MBA Admissions Consulting at Veritas Prep and then co-owned an MBA admissions practice where I helped hundreds of candidates get into Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, and other top business schools. More recently I co-founded Campside Media, one of the most respected podcast studios in the country, and have sold or been hired to write a dozen screenplays in the entertainment industry. What I've learned in both admissions and Hollywood is the same thing: the people who succeed are the ones who know their story and can communicate it clearly and authentically. That's the foundation of everything I do at True North. Before we talk about schools or essays, we build your Map — a detailed profile of who you are, what drives you, and what kind of college experience will actually help you become the person you're meant to be. Everything flows from there. I believe fit trumps brand. I believe high school should be an authentic experience, not a four-year audition. Further, I'm navigating this process with my own daughter right now which is part of what drew me back to this work — and it keeps me sharp on what families are actually experiencing. As a Columbia graduate and an incoming MBA candidate at The Wharton School I offer coaching for both undergraduate and MBA applicants. Over the past 6+ years I have successfully advised students who have gained admission into top schools such as Stanford, Yale, Princeton, Brown, UPenn, UC Berkeley, and USC. I study AI and Aerospace Engineering at Stanford. I applied from abroad with no US counselor and wasn’t rejected anywhere I applied. Before that: co-founded Romania’s first spacecraft development team and launched satellites with SpaceX. Engineering roles at Airbus and Tarana Wireless in electrical and RF. I am a 2021 Wharton graduate, with 2 years of professional application coaching experience. During my MBA, I coached 15+ MBA students with career guidance, resume critiques, and interview prep. I first encountered coaching when I was applying to matriculate as an MBA in 2019. At that time, I realized how important an application coach could be, not only for the specialized toolset and knowledge base, but also for the encouragement during a high pressure application process. During my time @ U.C. Berkeley, I founded a college admissions agency and helped hundreds of students land spots at UCs and various Ivies. After selling it to a national college counseling agency (now an AI-native platform), I thought I was done with the admissions game for good. But here we are.
