About the event
The UC application's four personal insight questions trip people up less because of the writing and more because of the choosing: which four of the eight prompts to answer, and how to keep them from repeating the same two or three accomplishments. Lisa Tsou, a Stanford alum and former admissions interviewer, breaks down how to pick a set of four that shows different sides of a candidate rather than one story told four times. She's worked with applicants who've gone on to more than 50 Ivy+ acceptances, largely by tightening the gap between what a response says and what it actually shows an admissions reader. With the November 30 deadline close, this is a good moment to pressure-test your draft selections before you commit to a final four.
