Market sizing is a critical piece to being able to ace consulting case interviews. Understanding these types of analytical and assumptions-based exercises will prepare you for both straightforward market sizing questions, but also have very relevant insights for smoothly conducting the analysis part of any full case interview. In this 60-minute course, we will introduce what market sizing questions are and how to solve them, and then dive into three practice market sizing problems (think Crossfit, semi-trucks, and San Francisco tourism!!). I will give each of you the chance to try structuring the problem on your own, and then we will walk through how to solve each of them in a clear, accurate, and organized way that will impress any interviewer. Coming out of this class, you will be equipped with a fail-safe step-by-step guide to approaching any case, and feel confident you can set up and do the analysis for market sizing problems in your next interview.
