About

I spent 29 years at Microsoft, most recently as a Director in Security Sales Enablement. That means I've spent a lot of time helping smart people explain complicated things, present to executives, influence decisions, lead teams, navigate careers, and communicate without losing the room. I've also sat through enough bad presentations, vague career advice, corporate jargon, and "executive presence" coaching to know what doesn't work. My coaching style is direct, practical, conversational, and low on ceremony. I'm not here to turn you into a polished corporate robot. I'm here to help you think more clearly, communicate more effectively, make better decisions, and sound like yourself while doing it. If you bring me a real problem, we'll work on the real problem. No fluff. No guru nonsense. No pretending every challenge can be solved with a vision board. Just better questions, honest feedback, and practical next steps.

Why do I coach?

Over nearly three decades at Microsoft, I worked across sales, enablement, communication, leadership, and security. A large part of my job was helping people take complicated ideas and make them understandable, persuasive, and useful. That included: - Coaching presenters and leaders - Developing sales and communication skills - Helping technical experts speak to executives and customers - Building stories and messaging around complex products and ideas - Supporting leaders through high-stakes conversations and decisions - Helping people position themselves for what came next in their careers Since leaving Microsoft, I've been building a more varied next chapter myself—coaching, communication consulting, storytelling, creative work, and acting. So when I work with someone asking, "What's next?" I'm not coming at it from a textbook. I'm in it too. That probably explains my approach better than anything else: Be curious. Tell the truth. Cut through the noise. Keep what works. Drop what doesn't. And try not to become a jackass along the way.
