Over the past two years, I’ve been building and implementing AI systems designed to improve operational efficiency across coaching, education consulting, and small-team service businesses. My work focuses on practical applications of AI in areas like talent operations, customer success workflows, knowledge management, and productizing expertise. This includes designing AI-assisted coaching systems, building custom knowledge bases and “AI doubles,” automating high-volume communication workflows, and helping teams integrate AI tools in ways that increase scale without sacrificing quality or authenticity. Before working directly in AI strategy, I spent over a decade as a mentor and advisor helping high-performing students and professionals navigate complex decision-making and career pathways. I have been in tech working with AI for over 10 years at Google and Meta. I now teach AI in Marketing at the University of Washington and ELVTR online. I have taught several hundred business leaders and students how to easily apply AI solutions into their sales and marketing workflows and projects. I am up to date with the latest AI solutions.

During my last two years at The Home Depot my team was responsible for working with multiple Product VPs to define and execute the company's AI transformation strategy and approach. I also worked with the Organizational Effectiveness team to build the human side of AI-related change, which is a massive part of any transformation. From this we developed training and coaching plans that were provided to thousands of individual contributors and managers, from new hires to VPs. The strategic part of transformation is what many leaders are skipping. This requires deep thinking about how to incorporate AI into your overall business and product strategy when it can so easily become a very expensive wild west. There are many tools available and they are changing rapidly. Token costs are starting to become real budget line items and will be under increased scrutiny from Finance departments. The power of AI is real, and it can help your business in many ways, from better ideation to faster delivery, but the rapid change both technologically and organizationally can be very disruptive - and not always in a good way - if you don't think through a proper strategic approach.
