Lead AI Change Across HR, Talent & the Workforce
AI is changing how work gets done, and HR and talent professionals are increasingly expected to help their organizations navigate that change. But knowing that AI matters is different from knowing what to do about it. Whether you're exploring AI within HR or helping business leaders address its workforce implications, this coaching package helps you build practical AI judgment, identify meaningful opportunities, and make informed decisions about people, work, and technology. We'll tailor our work to your role and priorities, with a focus on the challenges you're actually facing. - Build practical AI fluency: Understand generative AI, automation, and AI agents, what they can and cannot reliably do, and where they may be useful in HR operations, talent acquisition, learning, employee support, and workforce planning. - Identify opportunities by examining work: Look at selected workflows and friction points, such as repetitive employee inquiries, onboarding delays, administrative workloads, learning development, or managers struggling to access information. Distinguish where AI could automate tasks, augment employees, or introduce unnecessary complexity. - Evaluate risks and human oversight: Consider employee privacy, bias, accuracy, sensitive data, decision accountability, and the risks of using AI in employment-related activities. Identify where human judgment, review, and escalation are essential. - Understand how AI changes roles and capabilities: Explore what happens when technology takes on parts of a job, including shifting responsibilities, new skill requirements, manager readiness, employee capacity, and the work required to supervise AI outputs. - Connect AI opportunities to meaningful outcomes: Evaluate potential applications against outcomes such as employee experience, service quality, cycle time, learning effectiveness, workforce capability, and organizational performance. Consider the effort and cost of oversight alongside potential gains. - Prepare to influence and lead change: Work through stakeholder concerns, employee trust, communication, capability development, adoption, and the practical decisions involved in launching or supporting an AI initiative. For the shorter engagement, we'll focus on building relevant AI competency and evaluating a defined HR or workforce opportunity. The extended engagement provides additional time to develop a practical pilot, capability, and change approach, and prepare for leadership conversations. You don't need to be a technical expert. The goal is to become more effective at evaluating AI, advising your organization, and helping people navigate what changes next.
What's included
Our sessions combine practical AI education, HR and workforce examples, strategic thought partnership, and collaborative problem-solving. We'll start with the situation you're trying to address, then use relevant frameworks to evaluate opportunities, work through trade-offs, and develop practical next steps. Depending on your goals, we may map a workflow, assess a use case, prepare for a stakeholder conversation, or design an initial approach to capability development and adoption. We'll begin applying the concepts together during our sessions. You can then validate assumptions, gather appropriate information, or refine working materials between meetings. Subsequent sessions will focus on reviewing what you've learned, making decisions, and preparing to act. No technical background is required. We'll work with examples you're authorized to share, and you remain responsible for decisions within your organization.

Ex-Cox VP | Make AI Work for You, Your Team or Your Business
I work with professionals, leaders, and business owners who are navigating change, stepping into bigger responsibilities, or trying to turn ambitious goals into meaningful results. Over the past 20+ years, I've worked across consulting and corporate leadership, including Deloitte, Accenture, Booz Allen, and Cox Automotive. I've led large teams, managed complex transformations, helped organizations improve how they operate, and coached professionals through career transitions and leadership challenges. Today, I bring that experience to coaching across four areas: - Leadership: Building confidence, executive presence, strategic judgment, and the ability to navigate organizational dynamics. - Career Growth & Transitions: Preparing for promotions, moving into new roles, exploring career pivots, or redefining what professional success looks like. - Business Strategy & Operations: Turning strategy into action, solving operational challenges, and leading organizational change. - AI & Transformation: Helping professionals and leaders understand AI, identify practical opportunities, and guide meaningful change in their teams or organizations. What working with me is like I'm a practical, thoughtful, and candid coach. I'll ask questions that help you see things differently, but I won't leave you to figure everything out on your own. When it's helpful, I'll share frameworks, lessons from my own experience, and practical approaches you can apply immediately. Our sessions are collaborative and tailored to what you're navigating. We might work through a difficult leadership decision, prepare for an important conversation, examine a business challenge, or develop a plan for your next career move. My goal is to help you leave with greater clarity, stronger judgment, and the confidence to move forward on your own terms.
