Welcome to my profile! I am currently pursuing a JD/MBA from The Wharton School (UPenn) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. With my unique background in both law and business, I bring a comprehensive perspective to help aspiring law students navigate the admissions process. Although I am new to formal/paid coaching, I have consulted with dozens of candidates on the application process. Personally, I was accepted to a majority of the T-14 law schools (including a significant merit-based scholarship at UPenn) and currently hold a 3.9 GPA in the law school classroom. My experiences as a Summer Associate at Latham & Watkins and a Law Clerk at the United States Department of Justice have provided me with insights into the legal profession—I hope to leverage these insights and more to help you craft your story. I aim to provide honest, straightforward advice rooted in direct experience, ensuring you're prepared for the rigorous journey ahead in law education. As a first generation professional, I understand how stressful navigating the law school admissions process can be for applicants. After a post-graduation public interest fellowship and some time in big law, I spent more than a decade working at two T14 law schools—the University of Chicago and Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. My time working in legal education in both recruiting and student affairs means I am well-versed in how best to navigate the admissions process and select and succeed in the law school that is right for you. I am particularly passionate about working with those first generation professionals who are navigating the admissions process and with those from backgrounds historically excluded from the legal profession.

As someone who was admitted to both Harvard Law School and NYU Law, I bring firsthand experience navigating the highly competitive law school admissions process. My background includes four years as a software engineer at a top-tier tech company, where I honed analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills — all of which I bring to my coaching. I’ve conducted countless interviews in a professional setting and understand how to prepare applicants to present themselves with clarity and confidence. I’ve also already helped several individuals craft compelling personal statements and prepare strong applications, guiding them through every step of the process. Whether someone is applying to T14 schools or aiming to craft a narrative that stands out, I’m here to help approach their application strategically and authentically.

Hey future colleague! I'm a current JD candidate and Knight-Hennessy Scholar at Stanford Law school. I've been through many "rodeos" when it comes to grueling applications. I know what it's like to have a dream, and I'm here to make yours a reality. When applying to law school, I received acceptances to Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Georgetown, NYU, UMichigan, and UC Berkeley (the last of three were all full-ride offers). Beyond applying for law school, I have ample experience with tough interviews, having interviewed for the Rhodes, Marshall, Soros, Knight-Hennessy, Schwarzman, and Truman scholarships. Welcome to my profile! With a J.D. from UC Law San Francisco and a B.A. in Political Science & Music from UC Berkeley, I bring a robust academic background to my coaching. My professional journey includes roles as Corporate Counsel at Workday and a Career Design Coach for graduate business students at Santa Clara University. Most importantly, I'm passionate about helping aspiring law students craft compelling applications and prepare for the challenges of law school. I am currently a 3L student at University of Pennsylvania Law School. I was accepted off the waitlist in May 2023; before I committed to Penn, I was planning on attending UCLA Law. At Penn, I was awarded the Leader of the Year Award for my pro bono work my 2L year, received my Wharton Certificate in Management, and was a Wharton McNulty Nonprofit Board Fellow with Jounce Partners. I am the Development Editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law and led both the Pardon Project and Democracy Law Project (the two largest pro bono projects at Penn). Before law school, I worked for three years -- I was on the 2020 Biden Campaign and then worked in the Administration at the U.S. Department of Health of Human Services in the Secretary's Office. I have mentored four people through the law school waitlist process, drawing on my own experience of being initially waitlisted at Penn. When I applied to law school, I was working long hours and was not a natural test taker, so I focused on leveraging my professional experience and presenting my story in the strongest possible way. That approach earned me admission to UCLA Law (a T14 school) through my personal statement and essays, and later, I was accepted off the waitlists at both Georgetown Law and Penn Law before starting 1L. Since then, I have coached four applicants through the same process, helping them strategically navigate their waitlists. Each of them ultimately secured admission to their top-choice school, along with several others. I hope to continue using my experience to help future applicants maximize their chances of success.

Having navigated the law school admissions process early through Harvard Law School’s Junior Deferral Program, I understand firsthand what I wish I had known from the start. My approach goes beyond medians and numbers-driven strategies, focusing instead on helping applicants stand out through the power of their unique story. I provide guidance on every aspect of the application—from crafting a strategic narrative and strengthening resumes and letters of recommendation to navigating financial aid and refining essays. My name is Alexia Godron, and I'm a J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School. I originally applied to law school as a GPA/LSAT splitter, and transferred from Boston University School of Law after my first year. I've always been very passionate about helping people reach their full potential, particularly when it comes to education! I also have significant experience in tutoring and coaching - I've worked with high school students in college admissions coaching for three years, volunteer as an alumni interviewer for Yale University college admissions, and tutored French and Greek for over 4 years (including at the Yale Center for Language Study).
