My professional journey includes advising global corporations at DLA Piper and guiding over 100 clients at Fenwick & West, equipping me with a deep understanding of the legal landscape. While I just started my own law school admissions consulting business in 2025, I have nearly a decade of experience in law school admissions with eight of those years being at the University of Houston Law Center. I have read thousands of law school applications and can help you put your best foot forward in the application process. I will work with just about anyone, but I specialize in helping individuals from underrepresented communities find their perfect law school fit and those who aren't necessarily aiming for Ivy Leagues/T-14/T-30 schools (but if that's your goal, I'm more than happy to help). I was admitted to Stanford Law School during one of their most competitive admissions cycles (2021). I can speak to law school admissions, as well as the unique challenges of being a JD-PhD applicant. I've coached dozens of students successfully through law school admissions, and I can coach you too!

I was admitted to Yale Law School, Harvard Law School, and Stanford Law School, among others. I also received full-tuition scholarship offers from the University of Chicago Law School and Columbia Law School. I have demonstrated experience with crafting law school application materials and with LSAT preparation (I scored in the 99th percentile, and I have helped others do the same). Currently, I'm studying politics at the University of Oxford, where I am a Barry Scholar. The Barry Scholarship is awarded to around a dozen students in the United States each year, and it fully funds the pursuit of any graduate program at Oxford. I was admitted to three programs at Oxford, each of which was competitive. I'm experienced with writing, editing, and interview preparation. I specialize in applications to law schools, master's programs, and prestigious scholarships.

I earned my JD from Howard University School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of my class while serving on law review. After law school, I joined Paul, Weiss and later Kirkland & Ellis, advising leading private-equity sponsors on multi-billion-dollar M&A transactions, carve-outs, and complex fund formations. This combination of elite legal training and high-stakes deal work gives me a deep understanding of what top law schools and firms look for in applicants and future attorneys. Beyond credentials, I bring a coach’s mindset. I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned my degrees in French and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I went on to pursue my Juris Doctor (JD) at Duke University School of Law — an experience that deepened my love for the study of law. While I briefly worked in the legal field, I quickly realized that what truly inspired me wasn’t practicing law — it was helping others find their path through education. That realization led me to pivot into the field of international higher education, where I discovered my passion for mentoring students through the admissions process. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in university admissions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. As a former admissions officer, I’ve reviewed hundreds of applications from students around the world. My experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Chicago Booth Executive MBA program, where I gained firsthand insight into what top-tier programs look for in standout candidates. I spent over a decade living in Hong Kong, where I worked with both local and international students on applications to law school, MBA, Master’s, and undergraduate programs. Now based back in Raleigh, I continue to support students worldwide as they pursue their academic and professional goals.
