I have a lot of personal experience with dental school admissions and am very qualified to help pre-dental applicants with every step of the process. I received a top score on the DAT in 2024, and can provide students with advice and study strategies for the exam. I was an average student in college but was able to land multiple interviews into dental school. If I can do it, I firmly believe anyone can. Through creating my own opportunities in undergrad, I was able to create my own path into dental school. I have coached dozen of students all around the world through the LEAP foundation from getting into college to graduate school. Rachel Kulchar was born and raised in sunny San Diego. She is a current DDS/PhD student at UCLA and predoctoral fellow with the NIH. Here, she researches how cancer therapies affect the salivary glands. She earned her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, majoring in Chemistry with minors in Global Health & Health Policy and Materials Science & Engineering. With over 20 peer-reviewed publications and experience as a journal reviewer, Rachel brings a deep understanding of academic research and the higher education landscape. She has also served on several national boards focused on research and student recruitment in health-related fields. At UCLA, she has taught undergraduate science courses as a teaching assistant and enjoys mentoring students in both academic and pre-professional pathways. As a college consultant with over a year of experience, Rachel is dedicated to helping students find and gain admission to their best-fit schools. She fosters a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, grow with confidence, and aim high. I am a current dental student at Roseman University - Utah. Before dental school, I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Biology and minor in Public Health, earning Magna Cum Laude Honors. I also began pursuing a Master of Public Health with a Dental Emphasis from A.T. Still University. I have been tutoring for over five years, helping high school and college students in subjects including Chemistry, Biology, Math, College Algebra, and English. My teaching style brings a patient and thorough approach to make the learning experience understandable and enjoyable! As someone who recently went through the dental school application process myself, I understand the challenges that come with this journey.
