I went through dozens of interviews, technical cases, and partner conversations before landing investor roles, and I understand firsthand what it takes to stand out in a competitive process with out a traditional background. I have experience across early-stage VC and fintech product management at Citi. As a coach, I focus on helping candidates translate their unique backgrounds into compelling stories, prepare for cases with confidence, and develop the frameworks that interviewers are really looking for. I’m an active investor at Level Up Ventures, backing pre‑seed and seed founders who’ve historically lacked access to capital. Previously, at Volvo Cars Tech Fund global CVC. I operated across the U.S., Europe, and China, sourcing and diligencing early‑stage deals and working with portfolio teams. I’ve also held roles with Microsoft’s venture fund (M12), F‑Prime Capital, and ByteDance, and I bring an operator’s lens from time at an early‑stage startup. I’ve supported multiple early‑stage investments end‑to‑end from market maps and thesis work to diligence, deal memos, and post‑investment support. I’ve completed two formal VC training fellowships (HBCUvc and the Black Venture Capital Consortium) and now volunteer coach in those communities. Having seen venture from the LP perspective (as a pension fund analyst), corporate VC, independent VC, and the operator seat, I know what hiring teams look for and how candidates can demonstrate investor judgment. I translate that into practical coaching: sharpening your investor narrative, building theses and market maps, preparing take‑home memos, and running partner‑style mock interviews.

I have been an active angel investor since 2021 and have a strong network within VC in the US and Europe. I interned with Alpine Investors and started a company that was part of Y Combinator. I have helped several candidates land a role at their dream VC fund. I spend time carefully tailoring a package for your journey, from resume and LinkedIn review, to building a networking strategy and creating a role for yourself!

I didn’t start in venture capital. I intentionally moved into startup CFO and operator roles to understand how companies are built and financed from the inside. That path eventually led me to launch and manage my own fund, where I’ve raised capital and invested across early and growth stages. Today, I manage an investment fund investing across public and private markets, and have sat on both sides of the table i.e., raising money as an operator and deploying it as an investor. I’ve co-invested alongside firms like a16z and Sequoia and reviewed thousands of opportunities across sectors. If you’re trying to break into VC or raise capital, I focus on positioning. Breaking in isn’t about sending more cold emails. Fundraising isn’t about having a deck. It’s about understanding how investors think and communicating your edge clearly. I don’t coach full-time. I do this alongside managing capital because I enjoy working with a small number of serious people and sharing what I’ve learned from actually being in the seat.
