As the Founder of worklifecircle, I create spaces for meaningful connections and personal growth, while my roles at NYU, Dartmouth and USC have honed my skills in career coaching and program development. My double master's in Clinical Social Work and Applied Positive Psychology allows me to integrate evidence-based strategies into my coaching, ensuring a holistic approach to career success. Experienced CFO, investor, and entrepreneurial leader with a track record of success as a venture investor, business builder, fund-raiser and finance executive. While I continue to invest in venture capital, I developed my coaching practice in 2020 and since then have helped dozens of executives and entrepreneurs upskill, raise capital, find new opportunities, and excel in the new positions. I have done this work across industries, but most of my clients are entrepreneurs in tech/biotech, investment professionals in private equity/venture capital, or in real estate. I started my career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney (now Citi) before getting my MBA at Harvard Business School. I spent several years in private equity and venture capital at Warburg Pincus before moving into public equity investing at hedge funds, including my own for several years. Most recently I pivoted back to venture capital with a new firm, 3Spoke Capital, and spent two years as the CFO of a new AI/medtech venture, PreciseDx, for which I raised over $20MM in a Series B. All the while I was active in the recruitment, training, and management of high performance teams. Experienced leader in healthcare administration. Spent four years as an Executive Director with the Ensign Group, the largest and most profitable long-term care company. Successfully grew census in each facility and helped with new acquisitions. Facility EBIT averaged 1.5 million and improved CMS star rating at each facility. Through connections from that job, was promoted to a Vice President role with a smaller company. Since joining Cross Healthcare, have helped lead four new acquisitions that are all profitable and successful. Census has grown over 25% since acquisition and net income has improved from negative before acquisitions to successful facilities. As a Finance Program Manager at Google, I’ve coached 1,200+ professionals and earned 200+ 5-star reviews across multiple platforms by helping people turn their experience into interviews and offers. I work with everyone from university students and career switchers to Google Directors, Amazon Senior Managers, and Big 4 professionals, using structured frameworks to clarify positioning, strengthen storytelling, and improve performance across resumes, interviewing, networking, and negotiation. I’ve spent 20+ years in tech and product leadership across Amazon, American Express, startups, and consulting. I started as an engineer, moved into product, and have reinvented my path multiple times, including a recent pivot toward AI. Along the way I’ve made good moves, bad moves, and a lot of course corrections, and I’ve sat on the other side of the table as a hiring manager and senior leader.
