Across more than 20 years in graduate education, including leadership at MIT and graduate admissions work at Harvard, I’ve supported students through research opportunities, admissions, fellowships, mentoring, and doctoral development. We can work on program and faculty fit, applicant-authored statements and CVs, recommender strategy, faculty conversations, interviews, funding, and offer comparison. Sometimes our work is about strengthening an application. Sometimes it is about discerning whether a particular degree, program—and the mentoring, funding, community, and environment around it—is truly the right next step.
