Money is a necessity so why are we so scared to talk about it? I love talking about finances, from Work Finances - salary transparency discussions, leveraging company benefits, and compensation negotiations to Life Finances - budgeting, talking finances with your partner (ideally while dating), getting out of debt, and the psychological behavior linked with spending. I don't believe more money will bring more happiness and data proves that, but personally enjoy a certain lifestyle and have also struggled between the FOMO and YOLO rollercoaster of peer pressure. The pressures of money thoughts can be so loud - I'm here to help turn that volume down so you can focus on enjoying life vs. saving up for it!

I love Personal Finance and have been an avid saver since I could count and understood the concept of money. I come from a low-income first-generation immigrant background and I have always been determined to improve my family's financial situation. I grew up poor, moved into the lower-middle class, and attended a state school on scholarships. Following 3 years in my career, I took a bet on myself earning a Cornell MBA without scholarship and fully paid off my debts within 18 months of working at BCG while navigating the new decisions of upper income. I’m now debt-free and have moved from a consulting career into entrepreneurship and real estate development. At BCG, I was a leader of the 4,000 member Personal Finance Club, helping organize events and educate members. I've been reading books and learning from "gurus" for years; in 2025 BiggerPockets Money was my most listened to podcast with over 1500 hours. I've also long been a go-to resource for friends, family, and colleagues navigating debt, saving, investing, and major financial decisions. My approach draws from years of research across the FIRE movement and voices including Scott Trench, Mindy Jensen, Mr. Money Mustache, Ramit Sethi, Dave Ramsey, Robert Kiyosaki, Centsei, and others where I take what works from different philosophies rather than prescribing a one-size-fits-all system.
