Getting into a strong Architecture or Design Master’s program isn’t about perfecting one piece of your application. Your portfolio, essays, CV, experience, interests, and future goals need to come together to tell a clear and compelling story. This package is for applicants who know they want to pursue graduate school and are ready to build the strategy behind their application. Having completed my Master in Design Studies at Harvard Graduate School of Design and M.Arch II at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, I’ve experienced the graduate admissions process firsthand. My broader career across architecture, design, technology, and entrepreneurship also shapes how I think about graduate education — not simply as getting into a school, but as choosing and positioning yourself for where you want your career to go. Together, we’ll step back from individual application components and look at your candidacy as a whole. Here’s how we’ll work together: ⮕ Application Positioning & Story: We’ll identify the strongest narrative connecting your background, design work, experiences, interests, and future ambitions. What should an admissions committee understand about you after reviewing your application? ⮕ School & Program Strategy: We’ll review the programs you’re considering and think strategically about fit, priorities, and how your positioning may need to change across different schools or degrees. ⮕ Portfolio Strategy: We’ll discuss what role your portfolio should play within your overall application, which aspects of your work should be emphasized, and whether your current portfolio supports the story you’re telling elsewhere. ⮕ Statement of Purpose & Essays: We’ll develop the direction behind your written application — what your essays need to communicate, which experiences are worth emphasizing, and how to avoid simply repeating your CV or portfolio. ⮕ CV & Experience Positioning: We’ll look at how your academic, professional, research, extracurricular, or entrepreneurial experiences contribute to your overall candidacy and what should be emphasized. ⮕ Application Gaps: We’ll identify anything that currently feels weak, unclear, inconsistent, or missing and determine where your effort will have the greatest impact before submission. ⮕ Application Roadmap: Finally, we’ll turn the strategy into clear priorities so you know what to work on, in what order, and where to spend your time. This is not simply an application review. The goal is to build the strategy behind your entire application so that every component works together.

My approach is strategic, collaborative, and highly personalized. I look at your application as one complete story rather than treating your portfolio, essays, CV, and school choices as separate pieces. During our sessions, I’ll ask questions, challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and help you uncover the strongest way to communicate who you are and where you want to go. My feedback is direct and practical — the goal is for you to leave knowing not only what to change, but why it matters and how the different pieces of your application should work together.

  • A clear positioning and narrative that connects your background, design work, interests, and future goals
  • A strategic plan for how your portfolio, essays, CV, and experiences should work together across your application
  • Specific recommendations for strengthening gaps and positioning your application for your target programs
  • A prioritized application roadmap showing what to work on next and where to focus your effort

I'm an architect turned entrepreneur, a Harvard Graduate School of Design alum, and a venture-backed founder who believes a background in architecture and design can open doors far beyond traditional practice. My journey has taken me from studying architecture in India and Italy to earning an M.Arch II from the University of Michigan and a Master in Design Studies from Harvard GSD, and eventually building technology companies in the United States. I co-founded ArchSlate, a venture-backed startup that raised $1 million, grew to over 100,000 users, and served 500+ architecture firms. I later founded Zenoya, a technology platform built to help architecture and design firms run their businesses more effectively. Along the way, I've experienced the challenges of choosing the right graduate program, building a competitive portfolio, changing career directions, starting a company, finding customers, and raising venture capital. I've learned what works, what doesn't, and how much the right guidance can change someone's trajectory. Today, I help three groups of people: ➜ Aspiring & Early-Stage Founders: Turn ideas into businesses. From validating your startup idea and building your first product to finding customers, developing your go-to-market strategy, and preparing to raise capital. ➜ Architecture & Design Students: Navigate master's admissions with clarity and confidence. I help students choose the right universities and programs, strengthen their portfolios, develop compelling applications, and prepare for graduate study in the United States. ➜ Architecture & Design Professionals: Figure out what's next. Whether you're feeling stuck, considering a career change, exploring opportunities in technology, thinking about starting your own practice, or questioning whether further education is worth it, I help you evaluate your options and build a practical path forward. My coaching is direct, personalized, and grounded in real experience. I don't believe in generic advice or one-size-fits-all roadmaps. Whether you're choosing your next degree, rethinking your career, or building your first company, my goal is simple: help you make better decisions, avoid expensive mistakes, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
