Build Your Complete Architecture & Design Master’s Application
Applying to competitive Architecture and Design Master’s programs can quickly become overwhelming. There are schools to choose, portfolios to build, essays to write, CVs to refine, recommendations to coordinate, and deadlines to manage — all while making sure the application still tells one clear story about who you are. This package is designed for applicants who want hands-on, end-to-end guidance throughout that process. Having completed my Master in Design Studies at Harvard Graduate School of Design and M.Arch II at the University of Michigan, I understand both the design-school application process and the larger question behind it: how do you translate years of education, work, ideas, and ambitions into an application that clearly communicates your potential? We’ll build your application together from strategy through final review. ⮕ Application Strategy & Positioning: We’ll establish the central story behind your application, your strengths as a candidate, your goals, and how you should position yourself across your materials. ⮕ School & Program Strategy: We’ll refine your target programs and discuss how your application may need to adapt to different schools, degrees, prompts, and priorities. ⮕Portfolio Development: We’ll work through project selection, sequencing, storytelling, layouts, visual hierarchy, and overall presentation. You’ll receive feedback as your portfolio develops rather than only at the end. ⮕ Statement of Purpose & Essays: We’ll develop your essay direction and review your drafts, helping you strengthen the story, structure, clarity, and connection to each program while keeping the writing authentically yours. ⮕ CV & Experience Positioning: We’ll refine how you present your education, professional experience, research, achievements, leadership, and other experiences. ⮕ Recommendations & Supporting Materials: We’ll discuss who to approach for recommendations, what different recommenders can contribute to your application, and how the supporting pieces strengthen the larger story. ⮕ Application Reviews: As your materials develop, we’ll review them together, identify inconsistencies or gaps, and strengthen the overall application. ⮕ Final Review: Before submission, we’ll step back and review the application as a complete package — portfolio, essays, CV, positioning, and supporting materials — to make sure everything works together. ⮕ Interview Preparation: If one of your programs requires an interview, we can use part of our time to prepare your story, likely questions, and how you communicate your work and goals. Throughout the process, my role is to be your strategic partner and second set of eyes. You’ll still create and own your application, but you won’t have to figure out every decision alone.
What's included
I work with you as a strategic partner throughout the application process. We begin with the bigger picture — your goals, target programs, strengths, story, and positioning — and then work progressively through your portfolio, essays, CV, and supporting materials. Between sessions, you’ll develop and revise your application based on our discussions, and I’ll review your progress so each session moves the application forward. My approach is collaborative but direct: I’ll tell you what is working, what needs attention, and where I believe your effort will have the greatest impact, while making sure the final application remains authentically yours.

Harvard GSD Alum | Architecture & Design Masters Applications
I'm an architect turned entrepreneur, a Harvard Graduate School of Design alum, and a venture-backed founder who believes a background in architecture and design can open doors far beyond traditional practice. My journey has taken me from studying architecture in India and Italy to earning an M.Arch II from the University of Michigan and a Master in Design Studies from Harvard GSD, and eventually building technology companies in the United States. I co-founded ArchSlate, a venture-backed startup that raised $1 million, grew to over 100,000 users, and served 500+ architecture firms. I later founded Zenoya, a technology platform built to help architecture and design firms run their businesses more effectively. Along the way, I've experienced the challenges of choosing the right graduate program, building a competitive portfolio, changing career directions, starting a company, finding customers, and raising venture capital. I've learned what works, what doesn't, and how much the right guidance can change someone's trajectory. Today, I help three groups of people: ➜ Aspiring & Early-Stage Founders: Turn ideas into businesses. From validating your startup idea and building your first product to finding customers, developing your go-to-market strategy, and preparing to raise capital. ➜ Architecture & Design Students: Navigate master's admissions with clarity and confidence. I help students choose the right universities and programs, strengthen their portfolios, develop compelling applications, and prepare for graduate study in the United States. ➜ Architecture & Design Professionals: Figure out what's next. Whether you're feeling stuck, considering a career change, exploring opportunities in technology, thinking about starting your own practice, or questioning whether further education is worth it, I help you evaluate your options and build a practical path forward. My coaching is direct, personalized, and grounded in real experience. I don't believe in generic advice or one-size-fits-all roadmaps. Whether you're choosing your next degree, rethinking your career, or building your first company, my goal is simple: help you make better decisions, avoid expensive mistakes, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
