I began coaching graduate school applicants in 2013, while leading Corporate Fellowship recruiting for Wake Forest's M.S. in Management program. After being admitted to HBS, I was selected by my Section C peers as an Admissions Representative and elected by classmates in the African-American Student Union as the Admissions Ambassador. In these roles, I partnered with the HBS Admissions Office to host tours, connect prospective students with the community, and provide feedback on applications and essays. I served in both capacities for 2 years. Over the past seven years, I've also coached more than 20 MBA candidates on application strategy, narrative development, and resume refinement, helping them earn admission to top programs including HBS, CBS, GSB, Wharton, Tuck, and Georgetown.

With an MBA from the prestigious Haas School of Business and over 10 years of experience as a Senior Admissions Counselor at Stratus Admissions Counseling, I have guided 100+ applicants to success in their MBA journeys. Graduated from Kellogg School of Management's Full-time MBA program in 2018 - Accepted to 3 Top Tier MBA schools, received significant scholarships to all schools ($250k in total) and achieved 750 GMAT score. I have personal experience advising co-workers and peers on applications, including resume review, essays, and interviews. Post-Kellogg, I served as an Alumni interviewer and have a unique perspective into what it takes to stand out and how to best prepare.

I graduated from Stanford's MBA program at the GSB in June of 2023. At the Stanford Graduate School of Business I was an Arbuckle Fellow and actively involved in various leadership roles, including Co-President of the Sports Management Club, Co-Chair of the Sports Innovation Conference, and Social Committee member on student government. Prior to my MBA, I worked at BCG for 3 years, where I was promoted to the post-MBA role. I spent my undergrad years at the USC Marshall School of Business on a full tuition, merit based scholarship.

I was admitted to HBS and Stanford GSB through the deferred/2+2 program. After that, I founded Deferred MBA Consulting and have helped hundreds of clients with their applications. Ultimately, learnings from Deferred MBA laid the foundation for Leland. Since most of my time is spent building Leland, I'm best working with clients who don't need intensive coaching in a short amount of time. I love working with clients who have strong backgrounds but just need a few hours of time on application strategy, essays, recommender selection/prep, and interviews.
