I'm a recent GSB grad, former strategy consultant (Deloitte), and D1 athletics captain (Brown '19, water polo). I'm an undergrad math major with a passion for the arts who's never been able to just "pick one thing". My industry experience spans pharma, tech, sports, entertainment, and fashion. I'm a Harvard Business School MBA with a Northwestern undergrad degree in journalism. In my 10 years of MBA admissions work, I've coached clients who have been accepted at all M7 schools and they have earned more than $2 million in merit scholarships. I've worked with hundreds of applicants on every aspect of MBA applications from school selection to essays to interviews. With a rich background in admissions at MIT Sloan School of Management, where I served as Assistant Director of Admissions, I bring firsthand expertise in navigating the competitive MBA admissions landscape. My experience includes evaluating and interviewing candidates, developing recruiting strategies, and leading diversity initiatives. I've been on both sides of the MBA admissions desk. As an applicant I was admitted to Chicago Booth, Cornell Johnson, Columbia Business School, and NYU Stern; including a full-ride scholarship at Cornell, and I negotiated additional scholarship money out of Booth, where I enrolled on the two-year Lester Armour merit award covering 85% of tuition and fees. At Booth I then served as an Admissions Fellow: I reviewed applicants' submitted essays, interviewed them, and wrote the evaluations that went back to the admissions committee. That's the part most applicants never get to see; how an essay actually reads to someone who has read many of them, what an interviewer is listening for behind the questions they ask, and why two candidates with the same numbers get different answers. Since Booth I've worked in private equity, Fortune 500 finance at ServiceNow, and non-profit leadership, and I teach accounting as adjunct faculty, so I can also pressure-test the career story underneath your application: where you're going, why an MBA gets you there, and whether a stranger on the committee will believe you. I’ve built and led teams across very different environments: McKinsey (Engagement Manager), Fortune 500 Corporate Strategy (Director), and now trying my hand in the startup world (COO). I’ve seen how careers can evolve in very different environments and what can separate high performers at each stage. Received my MBA from Dartmouth Tuck. My most consistent career feedback - and what I am most proud of - is being known as an empathetic, direct, and highly invested coach.
