Hello! I am a current MBA candidate at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. I offer a fresh perspective on the MBA application process – I recently underwent the MBA application journey and found success with multiple M7 acceptances while coming from a traditional, overrepresented applicant background. Regardless of an applicant’s hard stats, a successful MBA application requires a compelling story, powerful essays, and a polished resume, crafted via rigorous introspection of one’s experiences, strengths, and gaps. I am a 2021 Wharton graduate, with 2 years of professional MBA coaching experience. During my MBA, I coached 15+ MBA students with career guidance, resume critiques, and interview prep. I first encountered MBA coaching when I was applying to matriculate as an MBA in 2019. At that time, I realized how important an MBA coach could be, not only for the specialized toolset and knowledge base, but also for the encouragement during a high pressure application process. MIT. INSEAD. Columbia. LBS. I'll be honest, a few years ago, I wasn't sure I had a shot at any of them. Not a banker. Not a consultant. I started out with internships in marketing, sales, and product during undergrad, then made a pivot into finance that most people told me wouldn't stick. I recently turned down a VC role to take a corporate finance position instead, because I'd rather make the unconventional call I believed in than take the one that looked better on paper. That patchwork: growing up in Lebanon, then studying/working in France, Singapore, the Middle East, and now Toronto isn't the background anyone would design on purpose. But it's the one I learned to own. And getting into 5+ programs taught me that a scattered story, told with intention, can be more compelling than a clean one told without it. I don't coach by handing you a formula. I work with you to figure out what's actually interesting about your path (even the parts that feel like liabilities) and build a strategy around that. If you've ever felt like your background doesn't fit the mold, that's usually exactly where I like to start.

With a B.A. in Economics from Harvard College and extensive professional experience at Google and Boston Consulting Group, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. I was accepted and matriculated to Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business after 2 years of management consulting and 4 years working at Starbucks Coffee Company in Corporate Strategy and R&D and Innovation. I went to business school to explore startups and a role in the technology industry. I am now a Senior Product Manager at Intuit. I have advised 10+ individuals on school selection, application, and career strategy. There is lots of noise on the MBA application process and lots of a bad advice. What matters most (besides meeting or coming close to basic GPA, GMAT, and experience requirements) is that you tell your story in an authentic way and help admissions officers understand why you will help them I have been a career switcher and deeply enjoy helping others navigate MBA Programs and career path formation. I will work with you until your application is great, not good, great.

I'm an experienced admissions consultant with almost a decade of expertise navigating elite admissions - for my own admissions processes for undergrad (Harvard) and full-time MBA (matriculated at Stanford GSB, additional acceptances to Wharton and many others). Outside of my own admissions successes, I've been a professional admissions consultant, beginning in 2016 with my work as an early hire at CollegeVine, one of the leading (undergrad) admissions consultancies in the US. I've formally consulted with, and informally mentored, countless students across both undergrad and grad school, with many acceptances to Ivies+. Regarding MBA admissions: I navigated my own admissions process with a relatively "nontraditional" background, coming from startups and, further back, self-employment. My view on admissions is one rooted in pragmatism and genuineness; let's dispense with some of the trite advice and focus on what your background offers, the story you have to tell, and why you actually want to go to business school. (And even whether you *should* go to business school! Navigating doubt is, in my opinion, an important part of this process as well.) Beyond admissions, I'm a successful startup operator - most recently as the exited COO of Impactive, a YCombinator-backed political software startup (acquired by ActBlue in 2025).
