I’m a Stanford Graduate School of Business MBA (Class of 2025) and former U.S. Army Special Forces officer with a track record of coaching applicants into Stanford GSB and other top MBA programs. I primarily work with veterans and other non-traditional candidates targeting GSB, where I bring firsthand insight into what the school looks for and how successful applications are constructed. I currently work as an Associate at an MBB firm and previously interned at a Big 4 company. Coming from a non-traditional STEM background, I’m especially well-positioned to help candidates who don’t fit the “traditional” MBA mold translate their unique experiences into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with admissions committees. My background in management consulting and client services has trained me to ask the right questions, uncover what truly differentiates your story, and communicate those ideas clearly - skills I apply directly to reviewing essays, resumes, and interview prep. Given my consulting background, I'm also highly mindful of working efficiently within your budget, accustomed to quick turnarounds on tight timelines, and flexible in customizing support to meet your specific needs. Having also personally tested nearly every major MBA prep resource (e.g., Applicant Lab, Forte MBA Launch, Target Test Prep, GMAT and GRE official materials, Magoosh, and others), I can offer candid guidance on which additional tools are actually worth your time and investment. Dozie was a principal and a venture partner at the venture capital arm of George Kaiser Family Foundation. He was also a vice president at Red Arts Capital, a senior associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and an associate at General Electric. He is also on the board of directors of A Red Orchid Theatre. He was on the board of directors of The Printing Museum. Dozie earned a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in electrical engineering from the honors college of University of Mississippi, a master of supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University, a master of public policy from University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.

I went 3-for-4 on deferred MBA admits, earning offers from Harvard Business School, Wharton, and Columbia Business School, and interviewing at all four programs I applied to, including Stanford GSB. I did it from Colby College, a small liberal arts school with no MBA pipeline and no on-campus consulting recruiting, which meant I had to build my own path to three consulting internships during undergrad and, eventually, an offer to join BCG in Boston. That background shapes how I coach. I know what it takes to build a candidacy when you don't have an obvious brand behind you or a network handing you introductions. On the deferred MBA side, I can help you find the through-line in your story, pressure-test your essays, and prepare for interviews that reward specificity over polish. On consulting recruiting, I've been through case interviews at every level and coached peers through them, and I can help you get from "I don't know what a case is" to a confident, structured performance. Candidates, especially ones from common or overpopulated demographics, need to stand out. We will work together so that you are not a one-dimensional candidate in the eyes of the Admissions Committee but one who adds something special to the entering cohort. I have been interviewing candidates as a Kellogg alum since 1993. I recruited Executive MBA candidates for Kellogg throughout Latin America and ran information sessions on the fulltime program while a Kellogg director. Later, I worked several years at two of the larger players in the MBA admissions consulting industry before deciding to offer the same services independently. Clients love my authenticity, enthusiasm, and sense of humor. But while a confessed porphyrophile, I have also helped clients get into a wide range of Top Twenty programs, including the M7.
