My own path to business school was anything but traditional: I moved to the U.S. from Turkey to attend the University of Chicago. Unlike most business school applicants, I left consulting within a year and joined a small startup that later went public. I was fortunate to be admitted to both MIT Sloan with a scholarship and HBS, and can confidently say I know how to package a unique background into a compelling application.
