Description
This five-hour coaching engagement provides a dedicated space to explore your career with greater intention, awareness, and clarity. Our work is collaborative and client-led. You determine the goals, priorities, and topics that matter most to you, while I partner with you through active listening, thought-provoking questions, reflection, challenge, and accountability. Depending on what you choose to explore, our conversations may include your values, strengths, professional identity, aspirations, competing priorities, assumptions, obstacles, possibilities, decision-making, or what meaningful career growth looks like to you. Rather than prescribing a career path or telling you what you should do, our work is designed to help you deepen your own awareness, consider new perspectives, identify possibilities, and determine actions that feel meaningful and appropriate to you. Each session will build from your priorities and emerging insights. When useful, we may establish reflections, experiments, or accountability actions between sessions that you choose to pursue. This package includes five hours of live, one-on-one coaching. Coaching is distinct from therapy, consulting, mentoring, or career placement services and does not guarantee a specific employment or career outcome.
What you'll get from this package
Greater clarity around the career goals, priorities, values, and questions that matter most to you.
Deeper awareness of patterns, assumptions, strengths, or barriers influencing your career decisions.
A client-defined vision of what meaningful career growth or change could look like.
Self-identified possibilities and options to explore based on your goals and circumstances.
Client-chosen next steps, experiments, or commitments with accountability for moving forward.
Additional details
Coaching delivered via live sessions.
My coaching approach is collaborative, client-led, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life and career. I create a confidential and supportive space for reflection while also challenging your thinking when it may help deepen awareness or uncover new possibilities. Our sessions are guided by the goals and priorities you bring to the conversation rather than a predetermined curriculum. I use active listening, inquiry, reflection, and accountability to help you explore what matters most, generate your own insights, and determine the actions you want to take. When expertise, advice, or resources outside the coaching process may be useful, I will clearly distinguish that from coaching and seek your permission before shifting into another form of support.
Coaching Partnership: Coaching is a collaborative, client-led process. You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes, while I provide a supportive space for reflection, exploration, challenge, and accountability. Confidentiality: Our coaching conversations will be treated as confidential, subject to applicable legal requirements and platform policies. Scope: Coaching is distinct from therapy, consulting, legal or financial advice, and career placement. When resources, information, or professional perspective outside the coaching process may be helpful, I will distinguish that from coaching and seek your permission before shifting approaches. Between Sessions: You may choose actions, reflections, or experiments between sessions to support your goals and learning. Scheduling & Communication: Sessions, cancellations, rescheduling, and platform communication are subject to Leland's applicable policies.

Certified Career Coach with Hiring Insight | 500+ Coaching Hours
My experience spans more than a decade in career and people development, 500+ documented coaching hours, and six years of management. At Yeshiva University, I coached approximately 30 business students each week; at Schwarzman Scholars, I developed global recruitment relationships with organizations including the UN, BCG, and McKinsey. Today, I lead employer engagement at CUNY John Jay and coach professionals through MTG Development Group. Alongside a completed ICF-accredited Level 2 coaching program and Hogan assessment certification, that experience informs how I help clients understand their strengths, communicate their value, and navigate career decisions. Whether you're exploring a new direction, preparing for interviews, or pursuing greater responsibility, expect thoughtful questions, honest feedback, and practical next steps shaped around your goals.
