Welcome! I am earning an MBA from The Wharton School and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and earned acceptances to many top law and business programs. Coupled with my experience coaching candidates for consulting recruiting (I worked at McKinsey & Company before graduate school), and I am able to provide insight to aspiring MBA students on the admissions process. I am currently a 3L student at University of Pennsylvania Law School. I was accepted off the waitlist in May 2023; before I committed to Penn, I was planning on attending UCLA Law. At Penn, I was awarded the Leader of the Year Award for my pro bono work my 2L year, received my Wharton Certificate in Management, and was a Wharton McNulty Nonprofit Board Fellow with Jounce Partners. I am the Development Editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law and led both the Pardon Project and Democracy Law Project (the two largest pro bono projects at Penn). Before law school, I worked for three years -- I was on the 2020 Biden Campaign and then worked in the Administration at the U.S. Department of Health of Human Services in the Secretary's Office. I have mentored four people through the law school waitlist process, drawing on my own experience of being initially waitlisted at Penn. When I applied to law school, I was working long hours and was not a natural test taker, so I focused on leveraging my professional experience and presenting my story in the strongest possible way. That approach earned me admission to UCLA Law (a T14 school) through my personal statement and essays, and later, I was accepted off the waitlists at both Georgetown Law and Penn Law before starting 1L. Since then, I have coached four applicants through the same process, helping them strategically navigate their waitlists. Each of them ultimately secured admission to their top-choice school, along with several others. I hope to continue using my experience to help future applicants maximize their chances of success.

I firmly believe I was able to get a large scholarship and broad T14 acceptenace because of my ability to create a compelling narrative. I know what it takes to build a competitive law school application because I've lived the full arc of it: from choosing the right extracurriculars as an undergrad to successfully navigating two separate law school admissions cycles, first as an initial applicant and then as a transfer student. I studied political science at BYU, where I balanced a packed extracurricular schedule that ranged from cheerleading and Political Review to serving as an officer for Women in Politics, all while completing a global marketing study abroad and several legal and political internships. That experience taught me firsthand how to build a narrative that ties together leadership, service, and academic interests into something admissions committees actually remember. I also understand transitions and tough decisions better than most coaches, because I've made them myself. I started law school at BYU, then transferred to Texas Tech Law to support my husband's medical training, and I'm about to begin there this fall. Along the way, I served on the executive board for the Government and Politics Club and the Federalist Society, and completed a government relations internship with Intermountain Health during my 1L year.
