About

Helping You Turn Complexity Into a Clear Path Forward I'm a strategy and operations professional with an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Morehouse College. Throughout my career, I've worked across finance, strategy, and operations at organizations including Google, Wayfair, Discover, and William Blair, helping teams solve complex problems, evaluate opportunities, and turn strategic priorities into results. Across my professional and personal experiences, I've learned that making progress often comes down to three things: understanding your options, asking the right questions, and having a practical plan to move forward. That's the approach I bring to coaching, whether you're preparing for an MBA, navigating a career decision, developing your leadership capabilities, or working toward greater financial security. What I help with: - Personal Finance: Develop practical strategies for budgeting, debt repayment, saving, investing, evaluating compensation and benefits, and building long-term financial security. - MBA Coaching: Clarify your application strategy, strengthen your essays and interview responses, and communicate the experiences and aspirations that make your candidacy distinctive. - Business Strategy & Operations Careers: Prepare for interviews, articulate your business impact, navigate career transitions, and position yourself for greater responsibility in strategy, operations, and leadership. What it's like working with me: My style is collaborative, analytical, and practical. I take the time to understand where you are, what you're trying to accomplish, and what's getting in the way. From there, we'll break down the challenge, evaluate your options, and identify actionable next steps that align with your goals. I believe good coaching should leave you with more than advice. You should walk away with a clearer perspective, greater confidence in your decisions, and tools you can continue using long after our sessions end. You don't need to have everything figured out before we work together. Whether you're starting from scratch, navigating a transition, or looking to take your results to the next level, I'm here to help you approach your goals with greater clarity, intention, and confidence.

Jamyle’s MBA Qualifications

My approach to MBA coaching combines my experience earning an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business with a background in business strategy, finance, and operations at companies including Google, William Blair, Wayfair, and Discover. Having navigated the MBA journey myself, I understand the importance of communicating not just what you've accomplished, but also how your experiences, motivations, and future goals come together to tell a compelling story. During my MBA, I presided over our student social organization, traveled abroad to enhance entrepreneurship developments in India, and led a team to a first-place finish in a business competition, further strengthening my ability to bring diverse perspectives together, develop a clear strategy, and translate ideas into results. In my professional career, I've worked across strategic planning, financial analysis, resource allocation, and executive decision-making. These experiences have shaped how I evaluate problems, communicate complex ideas, and identify the details that make a candidate's story stand out. As a coach, I help prospective MBA students approach the application process with greater clarity and confidence. Whether you're developing your application strategy, refining your essays, articulating your career goals, preparing for interviews, or determining how an MBA fits into your broader professional journey, I can help you organize your thinking and communicate your value authentically. My goal isn't to make your application sound like everyone else's. It's to help you identify what makes your experiences distinctive, connect your past accomplishments to your future aspirations, and present a compelling case for why an MBA is the right next step for you. Wherever you are in the process, we'll focus on building a thoughtful, practical approach that reflects your strengths, goals, and individual story.

Why do I coach?

Throughout my career, I've found that some of the most rewarding work happens when I can help someone work through a complex challenge, see a situation differently, or identify a path forward that wasn't immediately obvious. Whether working with business leaders on strategic decisions, navigating my own career and educational journey, or making intentional decisions about my finances, I've seen the value of having the right information, asking better questions, and approaching decisions with a clear plan. I've also learned that knowing what to do and knowing how to apply it to your own circumstances are two very different things. That's what draws me to coaching. I enjoy helping people connect the dots, recognize the value of their experiences, and turn uncertainty into actionable next steps. I don't believe there is one right path to financial security, career success, or personal growth. The best approach depends on your circumstances, priorities, and definition of success. My goal is to create a space where you can think through your challenges, ask questions without feeling judged, and leave with a clearer understanding of your options. I'll bring analytical thinking, practical experience, and an honest perspective to our conversations, while recognizing that you're the expert on your own goals and circumstances. Ultimately, I coach because I believe that having the right guidance can help people make more informed decisions, recognize opportunities they may have overlooked, and move forward with greater confidence. If I can help someone approach an important decision with more clarity and take a meaningful step toward a goal that matters to them, that's a rewarding outcome.
