About

Helping You Turn Complexity Into a Clear Path Forward I'm a strategy and operations professional with an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Morehouse College. Throughout my career, I've worked across finance, strategy, and operations at organizations including Google, Wayfair, Discover, and William Blair, helping teams solve complex problems, evaluate opportunities, and turn strategic priorities into results. Across my professional and personal experiences, I've learned that making progress often comes down to three things: understanding your options, asking the right questions, and having a practical plan to move forward. That's the approach I bring to coaching, whether you're preparing for an MBA, navigating a career decision, developing your leadership capabilities, or working toward greater financial security. What I help with: - Personal Finance: Develop practical strategies for budgeting, debt repayment, saving, investing, evaluating compensation and benefits, and building long-term financial security. - MBA Coaching: Clarify your application strategy, strengthen your essays and interview responses, and communicate the experiences and aspirations that make your candidacy distinctive. - Business Strategy & Operations Careers: Prepare for interviews, articulate your business impact, navigate career transitions, and position yourself for greater responsibility in strategy, operations, and leadership. What it's like working with me: My style is collaborative, analytical, and practical. I take the time to understand where you are, what you're trying to accomplish, and what's getting in the way. From there, we'll break down the challenge, evaluate your options, and identify actionable next steps that align with your goals. I believe good coaching should leave you with more than advice. You should walk away with a clearer perspective, greater confidence in your decisions, and tools you can continue using long after our sessions end. You don't need to have everything figured out before we work together. Whether you're starting from scratch, navigating a transition, or looking to take your results to the next level, I'm here to help you approach your goals with greater clarity, intention, and confidence.

Experience level: Director

Business Strategy & Operations Career Coaching With more than a decade of experience across strategy, finance, and operations, I help professionals navigate career decisions, strengthen their strategic capabilities, and position themselves for greater responsibility and impact. My background spans organizations including Google, Wayfair, Discover, and William Blair, where I've worked across strategic planning, financial modeling, resource allocation, cross-functional execution, and executive decision-making. At Google, I led global planning and operational initiatives supporting a technical organization of more than 400 engineers, including developing resource-allocation processes that improved utilization rates. Across my career, I've partnered with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to turn complex business challenges into actionable strategies. I've also experienced the challenges of navigating organizational change, shifting priorities, and evolving career opportunities firsthand. Those experiences have reinforced the importance of being adaptable, communicating your impact effectively, and understanding how to connect your work to broader business outcomes. As a coach, I help professionals develop the skills and confidence to navigate their next career move. This may include preparing for interviews, translating experience into compelling stories, strengthening executive communication, navigating career transitions, or preparing for leadership roles in strategy, business operations, and related functions. I bring a practical, analytical approach to coaching. Rather than relying on generic advice, I work with you to understand your goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop an actionable plan tailored to your experience and ambitions. Whether you're pursuing your next role, working toward a promotion, or looking to become a more effective strategic leader, my goal is to help you communicate your value and make more intentional career decisions. Let's work together to turn your experience into a clear strategy for your next step.

Why do I coach?

Throughout my career, I've found that some of the most rewarding work happens when I can help someone work through a complex challenge, see a situation differently, or identify a path forward that wasn't immediately obvious. Whether working with business leaders on strategic decisions, navigating my own career and educational journey, or making intentional decisions about my finances, I've seen the value of having the right information, asking better questions, and approaching decisions with a clear plan. I've also learned that knowing what to do and knowing how to apply it to your own circumstances are two very different things. That's what draws me to coaching. I enjoy helping people connect the dots, recognize the value of their experiences, and turn uncertainty into actionable next steps. I don't believe there is one right path to financial security, career success, or personal growth. The best approach depends on your circumstances, priorities, and definition of success. My goal is to create a space where you can think through your challenges, ask questions without feeling judged, and leave with a clearer understanding of your options. I'll bring analytical thinking, practical experience, and an honest perspective to our conversations, while recognizing that you're the expert on your own goals and circumstances. Ultimately, I coach because I believe that having the right guidance can help people make more informed decisions, recognize opportunities they may have overlooked, and move forward with greater confidence. If I can help someone approach an important decision with more clarity and take a meaningful step toward a goal that matters to them, that's a rewarding outcome.
