GMAT Expert | 17+ Years Experience, 100+ Students | Harvard & UChicago Alum
I’ve been teaching the GMAT since 2006 and the GRE since 2009. Over the years I’ve created a vast collection of slides, notes, and handouts for you. But I don’t believe in being complacent – in fact I’m constantly trying to improve through further study, research, and innovation. When I worked for a test-prep company I wrote a 270-page manual on Verbal problems, to help train the company’s teachers and textbook writers. To keep my math skills sharp, I regularly take college-level math courses. Right now I’m also redesigning my whole Critical Reasoning curriculum. For me the most exciting thing about teaching is that moment when a student suddenly understands a concept. To make those “aha!” moments happen, I carefully tailor my lessons to each student’s knowledge level and learning style. I encourage you to send me questions before each session, so that I can prepare a lesson plan for you. After each lesson, you’ll get a PDF document with notes on what we just covered. Experienced GMAT tutor with a 770
My intuitive, common-sense approach to the GMAT has helped numerous students get top scores since 2011. I emphasize comprehension rather than memorization: Instead of just giving you rules to remember, I help you figure out why they work. There's no magic formula that makes the GMAT easy, but with my techniques, it won't feel too hard. A good GMAT tutor should meet students where they are, and I always strive to do this. If you know a concept but struggle to apply it to certain tricky problems, I can help you with that. Alternatively, if you need something explained from the ground up, I can help with that too. I am flexible enough to work within your mental framework, rather than imposing something completely unfamiliar. My goal is to find explanations and methods that work for you, even if they aren’t entirely standard. I'll make sure to warn you if you're heading in a wrong direction, but for the most part I view GMAT tutoring as an opportunity to help you leverage skills that you already have. I've found this to be a very rewarding process, and I think you will too!770 on the GMAT

GMAT Focus Expert | Quant & DI Specialist | University Math
I bring over 14 years of experience teaching maths at the university level, combined with extensive expertise in GMAT preparation, particularly the new GMAT Focus Edition. As a Professor, I specialize in building deep quantitative reasoning skills — not just shortcuts, but real structural understanding that leads to consistent high performance. What differentiates me as a GMAT coach is my analytical, data-driven approach. I don’t believe in generic study plans. I diagnose performance patterns, identify conceptual gaps, timing inefficiencies, and decision-making errors, and then build a personalized strategy tailored to each student’s target score and timeline. I have worked with students helping them improve not only their Quant and Data Insight scores, but also their overall test-taking strategy, time management, and confidence under pressure. If you’re looking for structured thinking, clarity, and a strategic roadmap to maximize your GMAT score — I’m here to help you get there.715 on the GMAT

GMAT Pro Wants to Help You Increase 100+ Points in Just 8 Weeks
I've been coaching the GMAT for almost as long as distance learning has been around. However, my story really starts in 2006, the year I notched a nifty 770 on my GMAT and received a scholarship to the USC - Marshall School of Business. In the following years, I made the Graduate Dean's list in 3 semesters, and excelled at such courses as Microeconomics, Corporate Finance, and Statistics. My general academic interests fun rather parallel to the topics of the GMAT, and I sincerely feel that any incoming b-school student should have excellent capabilities in reading comprehension, argumentation, and college level quantitative skills. In the decade I've been coaching students in the GMAT, I've worked with nearly 250 people over a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, and thus have dozens of success stories from students who succeeded in increasing their scores by 100+ points! I have had a wide variety of students, but I would consider my niche to be veterans/active military, folks with learning disabilities, and those in search of a scholarship770 on the GMAT

Elite GMAT Performance | 20+ Yrs Exp | Executive Functioning
GMAT success requires a high-level operational mindset, razor-sharp executive functioning, and an advanced command of data-driven decision-making under tight constraints. Having guided elite candidates through complex career pivots and highly selective business school transitions for two decades, I understand that traditional, rote instruction completely overlooks the psychological discipline needed for this exam. I specialize in refining cognitive strategy for transitioning executives and high-achievers who have hit a score plateau. By analyzing how your brain naturally processes complex data modules and handles pacing pressure, I design a personalized strategic blueprint that optimizes your performance when the clock is ticking. Once we have gained a clear understanding of strengths and weaknesses in regards to the test structure and question types, we establish a set of general navigation rules to practice, while zeroing in on specific areas of the test to eliminate wasted time and structural bottlenecks; Finally, we build up decision-making stamina until it is unshakable, and reclaim learning agency for long-term career mastery!
