This package is for candidates figuring out whether sales and trading is the right direction, as well as those who already know it is and want a resume and a clear target list. In our first session, we'll go through your background, education, and experience, talk through what trading, structuring, and prop trading roles actually involve day to day, and take a first look at your resume together. After the session, I'll send you a written summary of role types within trading and detailed suggestions to revise your resume. In our second session, we'll pick up from there. If you're still deciding, we'll talk through your reaction to the role summary and settle on a direction. Either way, we'll review your updated resume and build a specific list of target roles and companies suited to your background. I spent nine years as a Managing Director running the EMEA exotic rates and long-dated FX derivatives trading desk at UBS, and 20+ years overall across trading, risk, and valuation at UBS, Deutsche Bank, and J.P. Morgan. I've interviewed hundreds of candidates and hired dozens across these firms, and my guidance reflects what a hiring manager on a trading floor is actually looking for, both in a candidate's direction and on the page. Two 60-minute live video sessions, one to two weeks apart to give you time to reflect and revise, plus a written role summary and resume feedback sent by email after session 1.
