Description
This package is for sales and trading, structuring, and prop trading candidates who have an interview coming up and want to walk in fully prepared. In our first session, we'll go through the likely questions and topics for your specific role and target firm, covering both technical content, such as pricing intuition, market-making and risk scenarios, product knowledge, and probability and estimation questions, and behavioral fit. After the session, I'll send you a written list of topics and materials to focus on before the mock. In our second session, we'll run a full mock interview covering both technical and behavioral questions, with direct feedback on your answers and how you present them. I spent nine years as a Managing Director running the EMEA exotic rates and long-dated FX derivatives trading desk at UBS, and 20+ years overall across trading, risk, and valuation at UBS, Deutsche Bank, and J.P. Morgan. I've interviewed hundreds of candidates and hired dozens across these firms, and my feedback reflects what a hiring manager on a trading floor is actually listening for. Ex-UBS Managing Director, Exotic Rates & FX Derivatives Trading Desk
I spent nine years as a Managing Director running the EMEA exotic rates and long-dated FX derivatives trading desk at UBS, executing client transactions and managing interest rate, foreign exchange, and volatility risk across structured products. Before that, I traded interest rate derivatives at J.P. Morgan. I later moved into valuations and model risk at Deutsche Bank, giving me a view of trading from both sides of the desk, the risk-taking side and the side that scrutinizes it. I coach candidates targeting sales and trading, structuring, and prop trading roles.
