About Tim
As an MBA applicant from a non-target school, I had to navigate the application process alone but ultimately ended up getting accepted to Harvard Business School, MIT, Wharton, Berkeley, and UCLA. As a result, I know how to craft a compelling story, and what you can do before applying to improve your competitive positioning. Prior to business school, I spent two years working on my own startup - an investment platform for renewables in Africa. The idea was the culmination of work done during my career in banking and as a data scientist at Visa. I have also helped set up two non-profits, one which was focused on supporting refugees in the UK and another that was focused on supporting entrepreneurs from emerging markets.
Why do I coach?
I have always enjoyed helping others and have personally benefitted from having mentors in the past. As someone from a non-target background, the mentorship I received during my application process was key to getting me accepted to my top schools. I'm now looking to return the favor by using my experience and knowledge to help others succeed in this pursuit.
