As a senior consultant in the Executive Search & Advisory practice at Chamberlain Advisors, I lead searches for c-suite and senior leadership roles, providing me with extensive experience in conducting interviews with executives and senior leaders. Through my role, I have gained a deep understanding of effective interview techniques and the art of crafting ideal responses. Additionally, I play a crucial role in writing candidate evaluation guides for companies, enhancing my ability to guide individuals in presenting themselves optimally during interviews. Beyond my professional endeavors, I have dedicated myself to interview coaching outside of work. I take pride in successfully coaching numerous individuals across industries, helping them navigate their interview processes and secure placements. Recently, I have coached individuals into roles such as Internal Communications Director, Product Owner - Retail Banking, and VP of Customer Success. My journey includes holding an MBA from MIT Sloan, where my focus was on human capital management and data analytics, specifically in the development of effective and unbiased hiring algorithms. This academic foundation equips me with unique insights and a strategic approach to interview coaching. Prior to my work at Chamberlain Advisors, I managed investment portfolios for private clients at Financial Decisions, a prestigious private wealth management firm in New York City. Why do I coach?
I am motivated to coach because I find immense joy in witnessing that transformative "aha" moment when clients are able to articulate their value and see the tangible difference it makes in their interviews. It's truly remarkable to see them transition from struggling to effectively convey their qualifications to confidently connecting the dots for interviewers, making it clear that they are not only qualified but also the best candidate for the position. My background as an executive recruiter, where I have conducted interviews with numerous executives and senior managers, has been instrumental in fueling my passion for coaching. I have noticed a significant gap between what is presented on a resume and how candidates communicate their skills and experiences during interviews. Many individuals struggle to articulate their relevant expertise, often veering off on tangents or failing to directly answer interview questions. This disconnect inspired me to bridge the gap and help individuals effectively convey their value to interviewers.
