Becka’s MBA Qualifications
Coaches professionally
I got into both Stanford GSB and Harvard Business School with a profile that didn't fit the standard mold: an international upbringing, a non-linear career, and no obvious "hook" on paper. What got me in was learning how to tell a coherent, honest story about who I am and where I'm going. That process, figuring out how to position yourself authentically, is exactly what I help clients work through. Since business school, I've informally coached multiple candidates through the MBA application process, several of whom have been admitted to top programs. I focus on the things that actually move the needle: sharpening your "why MBA, why now" narrative, making your essays specific enough to be memorable, and helping you figure out what's genuinely distinctive about your path (even if it doesn't feel that way to you yet). If you've been staring at a blank essay doc wondering how to make your story land, that's exactly where I do my best work.

About Becka
I didn't follow a straight path into product or business school, and that's exactly why I coach. Early in my career, I did what a lot of high-achievers do: I checked the right boxes. I worked in consulting, pushed myself into competitive environments, and eventually made my way to Stanford GSB. On paper, things looked like they were working. Behind the scenes, I was constantly asking myself if I was making the right decisions. After business school, I joined Nubank as a Product Manager, where I worked on products used by millions of customers across Latin America. It was fast, ambiguous, and high-stakes; it forced me to get honest about how I make decisions, how I communicate, and what actually drives impact versus what just looks impressive. I'm now a Staff Product Manager leading international growth at Nubank, working to expand one of the world's largest digital banks into new markets across Latin America and beyond. I work best with people who are thoughtful, ambitious, and a little stuck — whether they're trying to break into product, get into top business schools, or figure out what their next move should be. My style is direct and practical: I'll help you cut through the noise, make better decisions, and move forward with clarity. Outside of work, I've lived and worked across different countries. I care a lot about building a life that's not just successful on paper, but actually feels good to live day-to-day. If any of this resonates, I'd love to connect — feel free to book an intro call.
Why do I coach?
I coach because my greatest joy in life is to help others reach their fullest potential. I am trained as a coach through Stanford GSB's Arbuckle Fellows Program, where I am officially a coach to other students and also have taken on outside clients. During the admissions process, I also used an admissions coach who was incredibly helpful in my process. I strongly believe that if it wasn't for my coach, I would not have been able to navigate this process and secure my admission to the business school of my dreams. It would be my honor to be a part of your admissions process journey and help you succeed.
Work Experience

Staff Product Manager
Nubank
December 2023 - Present
Interviewer
I lead the growth squad on Nubank's international expansion team, working to bring one of the world's largest digital financial platforms to new markets. My work sits at the intersection of product strategy, market entry, and cross-functional execution — operating remotely across time zones with a team primarily based in the Americas. In two years I was promoted from IC6 to IC7 (Staff PM), a reflection of the scope I've taken on and my ability to drive outcomes in high-ambiguity environments where the playbook doesn't yet exist. This role has sharpened my ability to lead without authority, communicate across cultural and organizational lines, and build clarity from chaos — skills I now bring into coaching conversations with professionals navigating complex, fast-moving careers.
