I have the privilege of working with MBA students to support them in their career search and at a unique time in the market of AI. Many of them plan to work in the AI space and so my role in large part is to get them those roles. Additionally, I received my PhD in Counselor Education where I trained counselors with the support of AI and did my dissertation on the way we can best implement AI in counselor training moving forward. I am both aware of the movements of the AI space, and adept at the coaching approaches that support students in achieving their desired goals.

As an early employee at Outset AI (Y Combinator-backed), I've lived the AI startup journey from the inside, and I know what it actually takes to break in. I made my own pivot from management consulting into the AI startup world in 2025, so I understand both the strategic mindset and the uncertainty that comes with making a major career shift. With over 30 years of experience in the data industry—13 of those focused on data science—I’ve had an incredible journey through roles like Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, Head of Data Science, and now Chief Data Officer. Along the way, I’ve overseen major data initiatives, built high-performing teams, and developed a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in this field. For the past 15 years, I’ve been passionate about coaching in data science and artificial intelligence. I’ve helped professionals land their first internships, secure their dream jobs, and grow into leadership roles. I’ve reviewed thousands of resumes, interviewed hundreds of candidates, and learned exactly what stands out in a competitive market.

My leadership roles at companies like Intuit, LinkedIn, and PayPal gave me deep expertise in B2B SaaS, fintech, and scaling teams and products, all while staying ahead of emerging technology trends like AI. With a Master of Technology from the University of Calcutta and experience across AI training, evaluation, and education, my work centers on helping people use AI more effectively—and, for many, transition into AI-related roles. I have worked as an AI Trainer at Meridial and as an Instructor at Maven, where I design and teach practical approaches to working with AI systems. Alongside this, I have extensive experience in career coaching, including recognition for high performance at Wizco. Earlier in my career, I received a performance award for adopting AI in marketing at a startup—well before it became mainstream. I am also a top 5% LinkedIn member and have been invited multiple times by LinkedIn editors to share perspectives on AI skills and contribute to collaborative articles. As a Computer Science Tutor at Empowerly, I’ve developed personalized learning approaches to help students build both confidence and capability.
