I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Chicago and worked as a Trader and Investor in the competitive finance industry, both at J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs. As a Vice President at Goldman Sachs with a strong background in private credit and equity derivatives, I bring a wealth of real-world experience to my MBA coaching, especially for people looking to transition into a career in Finance.

Hi! I'm a Harvard MBA graduate and received admission through the deferred admit / 2+2 program (with a GMAT of 760). I've had a diverse set of work experiences both before HBS (venture capital, social activism, government) and since (Goldman Sachs, The Economist, and now transitioning into creative work / poetry). I love coaching people and particularly enjoy helping international students, and students from unconventional or underrepresented backgrounds. Funnily I've also had a lot of experience getting rejected from places (across sectors and regions!) - which has taught me a lot about what works, and what doesn't -- and how to stay sane through it all :)

I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. That said, you can expect me to be constructively candid – because coaching is about challenging you and accelerating your growth, not making you feel good so I can collect a check. In addition to sitting on both Stanford's and Northwestern's alumni admissions councils, I was an interviewer at Google and Facebook, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those from unconventional backgrounds trying to thrive in tech.
