I spent 12 years as a staff member at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, working closely with MBA students and supporting the admissions team. During my tenure at Wharton, I acted as a trusted adviser to prospective applicants as well as admitted and matriculated students. I conducted admissions chats with applicants early in the admissions process, administered interviews with hopeful students, read and reviewed completed applicant files, and also participated in admissions committee meetings. Additionally, I also represented the school at recruiting and welcome events. Prior to joining Wharton, I spent 5 years as a journalist, writing and editing for a number of mid-sized newspapers on both the East and West coasts. I earned my undergraduate degree in journalism from Penn State University and I also hold a Masters in Liberal Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

Drawing on 20 years of MBA admissions advisory experience and my work partnering with C-suite and executive leaders at corporate and private equity-backed companies to build their teams, I have a rare perspective on how elite institutions and senior decision-makers assess talent. Since 2006, I've advised 750+ clients across 45 countries, including professionals from PE/VC, tech, consulting, social impact, the arts, the military, and entrepreneurship. I graduated from Harvard Business School and have 10+ years of coaching experience. I have helped numerous clients get into Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and M7 as well as land jobs in banking & investing. I previously worked for the University of Michigan career center helping students apply for investment banking jobs and have reviewed hundreds of resumes, cover letters and mock interviews. I have also spent many years working with non-profits such as Synergist to mentor college women interested in business and finance and Minds Matter to help first-generation high school students apply to college. I take a hands-on approach and strive to help every one of my clients reflect their best true potential.

Welcome to my profile! I was accepted into deferred MBA programs at the Harvard Business School and Wharton School of Business after graduating from a non-target school with an 82% acceptance rate. I had big dreams in undergrad: get into an M7 business school. But, I had no connections, no target background, and no clue how to get there. I share this because if I can do it, you can too. I applied to CBS and Wharton deferred enrollment program in 2021 and was admitted. For admission I took the GRE and Executive assessment, and since then have tutored both. I also have coached several UPenn Juniors and Seniors through deferred admission applications, including standardized testing and working on full application editing.
