I am a current Harvard Business School MBA (Class of 2027) who worked at Citadel as a long/short equity investor, and I know firsthand how hard the path to get here is. I was admitted to both HBS and Stanford GSB in Round 1 from a non-target undergraduate institution (American University of Beirut), which means I understand exactly how to craft a differentiated application when you are not coming from a brand-name feeder school. The story, the framing, and the narrative arc matter enormously, and I can help you find yours. Before HBS, I spent four years at BCG, becoming the youngest Project Leader in BCG Middle East history with three fast-track promotions, consistently ranking in the top 3% of my global cohort. I worked across healthcare and private equity, and was selected for the CEO's Office to define BCG's global GenAI strategy. I also founded my own investment holding company, achieving a 20% IRR on a real estate portfolio and a 24% IRR on a public markets fund. Since joining Leland, I've coached military applicants into Harvard (2x), Stanford (2x), Columbia, LBS, Duke, and UVA (the last two with scholarships). That includes one Army applicant with a 3.2 GPA and below-average GRE who earned dual admission to Harvard and Stanford. Prior to Leland, I mentored dozens of transitioning veterans into every M7 school. I know the challenges of applying while still in the military because I did it. I was admitted to Stanford, MIT, and Berkeley while on deployment, doing networking calls on a NIPR phone and submitting applications over satellite comms.
