As the lead of the Growth Equity Investing Sleeve for Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women Initiative, I encountered dozens of founders and fund managers with scale more in line with venture than growth. I’m an active investor at Level Up Ventures, backing pre‑seed and seed founders who’ve historically lacked access to capital. Previously, at Volvo Cars Tech Fund global CVC. I operated across the U.S., Europe, and China, sourcing and diligencing early‑stage deals and working with portfolio teams. I’ve also held roles with Microsoft’s venture fund (M12), F‑Prime Capital, and ByteDance, and I bring an operator’s lens from time at an early‑stage startup. I’ve supported multiple early‑stage investments end‑to‑end from market maps and thesis work to diligence, deal memos, and post‑investment support. I’ve completed two formal VC training fellowships (HBCUvc and the Black Venture Capital Consortium) and now volunteer coach in those communities. Having seen venture from the LP perspective (as a pension fund analyst), corporate VC, independent VC, and the operator seat, I know what hiring teams look for and how candidates can demonstrate investor judgment. I translate that into practical coaching: sharpening your investor narrative, building theses and market maps, preparing take‑home memos, and running partner‑style mock interviews.

I have spent over 7 years in finance, interned at two top venture capital funds and have been an active angel investor since 2019. I have a deep understanding of how to prep for interviews, build a thesis to make your application stand out and most importantly, stay focused on the goals to find the right fund and stage of investing for you.

I was an MBA Investment Associate at a student-run venture capital group at Wharton. I also recently recruited for a summer internship in climate tech VC, where I went through the process of crafting my own investment thesis.

Landed jobs and internships at top funds like Norwest, Floodgate, and Summit Partners. Have coached fellow students on breaking into the industry. Worked in the space for 2 years, ultimately pursued a full-time job operating due to fund economics at the junior levels. Can speak to breaking in but also thinking about building a long-term career in the space. I now work with emerging fund managers on fund launch strategy, and angel invest in ~5-10 companies a year.
