Welcome to my profile! I have spent the last ~5 years of my career in middle market private equity at both Court Square (Vice President) and Avista (Associate). Between those two stops, I spent a year at a portfolio company in operations / business development before earning my MBA from Wharton with a focus on Healthcare Management. I bring a strong academic foundation to my coaching, which I believe is important as one thinks about breaking into the industry but succeeding once you're in the seat. My experience allows me to speak to new deal sourcing / evaluation / execution, portfolio company monitoring, and driving value creation. I successfully broke into private equity from a non-target school, where I learned firsthand that the traditional recruiting funnel doesn't work for everyone. Before attending The Wharton School, I advised large-cap sponsors on acquisitions, carve-outs, and fund structures as an M&A attorney at Kirkland & Ellis and Paul Weiss. I then transitioned into investing and operations at GenNx360 Capital Partners, where I worked on new deals and drove value creation across healthcare and industrial portfolio companies. I led initiatives in procurement, growth strategy, and cross-portfolio synergies. I deepened my transaction experience as an Investment Banker at Guggenheim Securities.
