NYU Assistant Dean & Prehealth Chair | 14+ Years of Experience

I bring over 14 years of experience in premedical advising, helping students navigate every stage of the medical school admissions process, from building a competitive academic and extracurricular profile to submitting a strong, compelling application. As Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Academics and Global Engagement at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Chair of the Prehealth Committee, I have extensive experience advising aspiring physicians, evaluating applicants' qualifications, and writing committee letters of recommendation. My work has included supporting students at NYU and consulting for CUNY Hunter College, giving me experience working with applicants from a wide range of academic backgrounds and career interests. For the past six years, I have also taught a formal course dedicated to the medical school application process, guiding students through AMCAS, personal statements, secondary applications, school selection, and interview preparation. Having worked closely with students throughout their premedical journeys, I understand both the challenges of preparing a competitive application and the importance of telling an authentic, cohesive story. My coaching approach combines personalized guidance, practical admissions strategies, and years of experience helping students identify their strengths and confidently present themselves as future physicians.
