Returning to Yourself: Mindfulness for Work, Study & Change
Returning to Yourself is a four-week live online mindfulness course for people navigating work, study, change, and everyday life. We’ll practice returning attention, listening to the body through stillness and movement, meeting manageable difficulty with care, and caring about what matters without assuming control over every outcome. We make room for your real life—your strengths, relationships, culture, responsibilities, and resources—as well as meaning, connection, creativity, joy, and belonging. Both package sizes include four 90-minute group classes, an optional Practice & Integration Companion, and selected guided-practice recordings. The Plus option adds one private 60-minute appointment. No meditation experience is needed. Sundays, November 15, 22, 29, and December 6, 2026 12:00–1:30 PM Pacific / 3:00–4:30 PM Eastern
What's included
Each class follows a familiar rhythm: arrival, brief teaching, guided practice, private reflection, shared inquiry, and closing integration. You’re invited to explore, not perform. You may keep your eyes open, move, change anchors, pause, or stop. Sharing and cameras are optional; listening counts as participation. Between classes, the Companion and recordings offer invitations—not assignments. There is no required homework or practice streak. I’m Gloria Cindy Anglón, NBC-HWC. This second RTY cohort continues my mindfulness teacher-training practice through MMTCP. The teachings have Buddhist roots; no religious affiliation is required.
- Foundational practices: Adaptable mindfulness practices for attention, body awareness, self-compassion, and balanced presence.
- Workable anchors: Explore breath, sound, sight, contact, and movement as places to rest and return attention.
- Practice resources: An optional Companion and selected guided-practice recordings to revisit between classes.
- Your own practice map: Notice what supports you, what you may adapt, and what you may choose to leave.

MIT, Harvard & NBC-HWC | Career Clarity, Transitions & Next Steps
Whether you’re exploring graduate school, considering research opportunities, navigating a transition, or wondering what comes next, it can help to have someone think it through with you. That’s where my work begins. Through Anglón Practice, I offer graduate school advising, mindful coaching, and mindfulness meditation courses and guided practice. We might explore whether a master’s or PhD fits your goals, evaluate research opportunities and mentoring environments, or work through a decision or change in your life. Through mindful coaching or meditation courses, you can also explore ways to bring greater awareness and self-compassion into everyday experience. My advising draws on more than 20 years in graduate education, admissions, research pathways, funding, and student support, including leadership at MIT and experience at Harvard and the University of Maryland. I’m also a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and a current USC PhD student. I’m completing my mindfulness teacher training, with certification anticipated in January 2027. Across all three streams, my approach is mindful, collaborative, culturally responsive, and systems-aware. Together, we’ll explore what matters to you, make information and options easier to understand, and pay attention to the strengths, relationships, resources, and circumstances shaping your choices. Specific mindfulness and self-compassion practices are offered with choice and adapted to your goals and comfort. My role isn’t to decide for you. It’s to help you make informed and intentional choices that fit your goals, your context, and the life you’re trying to build. Schedule a free introductory call to talk about what brings you here and whether working together would be useful.
