Grounded & Clear: 1:1 Mindful Life Coaching
Grounded & Clear is a three-session, 1:1 mindful coaching experience for people navigating a decision, transition, recurring pattern, competing priorities, self-criticism, feeling stuck—or simply wanting to live with greater clarity and intention. Across three private hour-long sessions, we’ll use health & wellness coaching, with brief mindfulness and self-compassion practices when they support your goals. No prior meditation experience is needed. You bring what matters to you. Together, we’ll create enough space to notice what may be shaping your experience—within you and around you—and explore what becomes possible from greater awareness, perspective, and support. Sometimes that means working through a problem or decision. At other times, it means reconnecting with what gives you energy, meaning, or a greater sense of possibility. Our work generally moves through four capacities: Pause → Notice → Relate → Respond Session 1 — Pause & Clarify What matters here? We’ll clarify what brings you to coaching, what you want to move toward, and the strengths, values, relationships, and resources already available to you. Session 2 — Notice & Relate What is happening within and around you—and how are you meeting it? We’ll explore patterns, stories, pressures, relationships, expectations, and other factors shaping your response. We’ll also explore how you are relating to what is happening. Is there urgency? Self-criticism? Avoidance? Curiosity? Compassion? Pressure to have the answer immediately? Session 3 — Respond & Integrate What do you need, and what is the wisest workable response now? That may involve action, a boundary, support, rest, waiting, experimentation, acceptance, or letting something go. Mindfulness and self-compassion practices are always optional and responsive to you. There is no fixed meditation curriculum and no prior experience required.

NBC-HWC | Mindful Coaching for Clarity & Sustainable Next Steps
Whether you’re exploring graduate school, considering research opportunities, navigating a transition, or wondering what comes next, it can help to have someone think it through with you. That’s where my work begins. Through Anglón Practice, I offer graduate school advising, mindful coaching, and mindfulness meditation courses and guided practice. We might explore whether a master’s or PhD fits your goals, evaluate research opportunities and mentoring environments, or work through a decision or change in your life. Through mindful coaching or meditation courses, you can also explore ways to bring greater awareness and self-compassion into everyday experience. My advising draws on more than 20 years in graduate education, admissions, research pathways, funding, and student support, including leadership at MIT and experience at Harvard and the University of Maryland. I’m also a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and a current USC PhD student. I’m completing my mindfulness teacher training, with certification anticipated in January 2027. Across all three streams, my approach is mindful, collaborative, culturally responsive, and systems-aware. Together, we’ll explore what matters to you, make information and options easier to understand, and pay attention to the strengths, relationships, resources, and circumstances shaping your choices. Specific mindfulness and self-compassion practices are offered with choice and adapted to your goals and comfort. My role isn’t to decide for you. It’s to help you make informed and intentional choices that fit your goals, your context, and the life you’re trying to build.
