I earned my MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth after a career as a physician, with a Yale MPH along the way. I understand exactly how admissions committees read an application: how to turn an unconventional background into a standout story, how to make essays authentic and differentiated instead of generic, how to choose schools strategically, and how to prep your recommenders and nail the interview. I later became a Vice President in Healthcare Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and served on recruiting teams that evaluated scores of candidates; so, I know what excellence looks like on paper and in the room, and I bring that same discerning eye to your candidacy. I work especially well with healthcare and non-traditional applicants (including MD/MBA and other dual-degree paths), though I coach applicants from every background. I applied to Stanford GSB and Oxford from Turkey, with a path that didn't fit any template: government work in Rwanda and Ethiopia and early-stage venture in Turkey. I got into both on scholarships. What worked wasn't a polished résumé. It was knowing which story to tell and how to tell it to a reader who has three minutes and a stack of three hundred. That's what I help with. For years friends have sent me their essays and asked me to run mock interviews, and I've spent hundreds of hours reading drafts, finding the thread, cutting what doesn't matter. Most of them got in. I'm now doing it properly, with a small number of applicants each cycle. I got into Wharton with a GMAT of 710 and TOEFL of 106, both well below the school's average. I also received scholarship and fellowship offers from NYU Stern and Michigan Ross. My test scores didn't define my application. What stood out was my unique story: diverse career pivots across functions and markets, a niche in entrepreneurship, design thinking, and EdTech, and a track record of doing things others thought impossible (like publishing two books before ever working in corporate).
