I began coaching graduate school applicants in 2013, while leading Corporate Fellowship recruiting for Wake Forest's M.S. in Management program. After being admitted to HBS, I was selected by my Section C peers as an Admissions Representative and elected by classmates in the African-American Student Union as the Admissions Ambassador. In these roles, I partnered with the HBS Admissions Office to host tours, connect prospective students with the community, and provide feedback on applications and essays. I served in both capacities for 2 years. Over the past seven years, I've also coached more than 20 MBA candidates on application strategy, narrative development, and resume refinement, helping them earn admission to top programs including HBS, CBS, GSB, Wharton, Tuck, and Georgetown.

I graduated from Stanford's MBA program at the GSB in June of 2023. I am a successful deferred MBA and traditional MBA coach with more than 15+ clients receiving acceptances at M7 programs. including GSB, HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, Booth, Columbia, and Sloan for both deferred and traditional MBA applications. I was admitted to HBS and Stanford GSB through the deferred/2+2 program. After that, I founded Deferred MBA Consulting and have helped hundreds of clients with their applications. Ultimately, learnings from Deferred MBA laid the foundation for Leland. Since most of my time is spent building Leland, I'm best working with clients who don't need intensive coaching in a short amount of time. I love working with clients who have strong backgrounds but just need a few hours of time on application strategy, essays, recommender selection/prep, and interviews.
