MBA Admissions

Since graduating from Stanford GSB, I have been helping prospective students from all over the world gain admission to top MBA programs. I have more than 15 years of professional experience working with top admissions consulting companies.

As a current MBA student at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Forte Fellow, I bring firsthand experience and insights into the MBA admissions process. My background includes a diverse range of professional experiences, from consulting at Boston Consulting Group to strategic roles at AlphaSights, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of what top business schools seek in candidates. I have successfully coached 15+ individuals, helping them craft compelling applications that highlight their unique strengths and experiences. Throughout my career I have managed 10+ people and served as a mentor to many more, which helps me best support the people I work with. Whether you need guidance on application strategy, essay writing, or interview preparation, I'm here to help you navigate the journey to your dream MBA program. Let's connect and make your MBA aspirations a reality!

I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. That said, you can expect me to be constructively candid – because coaching is about challenging you and accelerating your growth, not making you feel good so I can collect a check. In addition to sitting on both Stanford's and Northwestern's alumni admissions councils, I was an interviewer at Google and Facebook, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those from unconventional backgrounds trying to thrive in tech.

Stanford GSB, Wharton, Kellogg, Booth, Haas, Yale and Columbia admit, Stanford GSB grad with extensive coaching experience on essays, resume building and effective storytelling.

I have over 17+ years of higher education experience and 9 years at Columbia University, serving as a former Director of MBA/EMBA Admissions, and Senior Associate Director for the Columbia Business School Real Estate Center and Alumni Development. I simplify the process with tailored guidance, personalized strategy, and insights earned as a former M7 Admissions Director, helping you build a narrative that feels true to you and compelling to admissions committees. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here and I'd love to help you build successful applications with real results.

Helped 10+ Applicants get into their Dream Schools Helped 5+ Applicants get into GSB & HBS As a First-Generation Harvard graduate and current MBA candidate at Stanford GSB, I bring a unique perspective to the coaching process, specializing in helping candidates shine in their essays and interviews. I have dedicated my career to creating equal opportunities for underrepresented groups. In addition to my professional experience, I have mentored numerous individuals and advocated for First-generation students and graduates. Let's connect and discuss how I can help you achieve your goals!

Welcome! European, without a consulting or finance background, never been in the US, no Ivy League undergrad… I once thought joining Stanford GSB would be impossible. But by being strategic, resourceful, and persistent, I made it happen ! And now I want others to pursue the same path and made their dream happen ! That is why I am on Leland ! For over 12 years, I built a career in telecom across France, Spain, South Korea and Poland, leading large teams and managing multi-hundred-million-dollar businesses. On paper, I didn’t fit the “classic” MBA mold. Yet through careful storytelling, clear positioning, and a deep understanding of what schools truly value, I turned what seemed like weaknesses into my greatest strengths. My journey showed me that admissions success is about owning your story, showing your potential, and finding the right strategy to shine. Along the way, I’ve coached dozens of applicants, especially international students, helping them break through their doubts and land at the GSB. I know how transformative the right mentorship can be, because I’ve lived it. Now, I’m here to pay it forward. If you’re ready to pursue your dream, I’d be glad to guide you step by step.

Hi, I’m Selina! I was accepted into 3/3 deferred MBA programs I applied to: Stanford GSB, Harvard Business School, and Wharton. My edge is storytelling. I’m a former Top 2 nationally ranked debater, published writer, editor, and AI product / strategy operator with experience at TikTok, Microsoft, The Walt Disney Company, and Brookings. I excel in helping candidates with application polishing, essays, resume, short answers, interviews, etc. in a way that is unforgettable.
