More than any credential, what you should know about me is that I get it. This is a crazy process that's become hyper competitive, and standing out feels like an impossible task. I grew up in a small town, didn't go to the prestigious college, and didn't know any "insiders." I have a belief in myself and the skills I've developed through trying a bunch of things and failing a lot. I want to share these skills (and my belief in you). How does everything you have done so far logically lead to what you want to do next? What is the deeper pattern behind your experiences? What makes your candidacy feel not just impressive, but inevitable? Over the past 12 years, I have advised roughly 100 applicants, most targeting top 10 MBA programs. My coaching style is intense, direct, and highly detail-oriented. I am a perfectionist about narrative coherence. I push candidates to go beyond surface-level achievements, uncover the strongest themes in their background, clarify credible short- and long-term goals, and translate their experience into essays and interviews that feel specific, mature, and authentic. The final application should not sound manufactured; it should feel honest, distinctive, and unmistakably yours. I am particularly helpful for candidates with complex, international, technical, finance-heavy, startup, or non-linear backgrounds. My background combines education from MIT Sloan MBA / undergrad at UPenn, international business experience across the U.S. and China, and years of advising students and professionals on applications, essays, interviews, and career positioning. I have worked across strategy, operations, venture capital, M&A, clean tech, and startup commercialization, which gives me a practical understanding of how ambitious candidates should frame their leadership potential, career goals, and personal differentiation.

I grew up in Russia and I had the privilege of studying at the Higher School of Economics, where I graduated with honors. My career began at EY - Transaction Advisory Services in Moscow, where I juggled a demanding full-time job with a full-time master’s program. In 2017, my work paid off with an international transfer to EY Boston. By 2022, I had realized a dream by joining the MBA program at Harvard Business School. Beyond my professional life, I’ve spent the last 15 years mentoring students in Moscow and Boston through UStrive, and engaging in social consulting projects with non-profits in Boston.

I have supported Admissions interviews for candidates in to the Chicago Booth part-time MBA program so I have a strong sense of what it takes to gain successful admission. During my application process, I only considered 2 part-time programs (Booth & Kellogg) and was able to attain admission to both. In addition, I TA'd Negotiations courses at Booth so I have significant experience negotiating offers and scholarships.
