My background includes roles at prestigious firms like Gibson Dunn and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where I honed my skills in bankruptcy law and SEC filings. I've also served as a Teaching Assistant at UPenn, will be joining Gibson Dunn's Real Estate group in New York this fall. There's so much information on what a law school applicant should do, it can feel overwhelming. My goal has always been to provide superior information targeted to each student's unique circumstances. No questions are off limits, I make the path simple, comfortable and understanding. We can tackle anything or everything – from the minutiae of getting your recs/transcripts to LSAC to crafting your personal statements. Perhaps the best definition I’ve heard of a law school personal statement is that it’s a chance to tell your story. My goal is to capture a side of you that no one can deny is uniquely you. Law school trains you to be an attorney. But every student, every lawyer, is first and foremost a person – with a story. Your story informs your judgment. As an attorney, you hold tremendous power in society. Showing an admissions committee who you are through your story demonstrates how you’ll use that power responsibly. Our purpose is to tell your story. I believe every person has greatness inside of them and our goal is to show your greatness through your story.

I’m a first-year law student who has recently navigated the law school admissions process and successfully helped friends do the same. I know firsthand how overwhelming the LSAT and application process can be and how difficult it is to raise your score while managing anxiety and pressure. Through targeted strategies and mindset shifts, I was able to raise my LSAT score to a near-perfect range, and I now help others do the same. My approach focuses on helping you to understand how the test works, not just memorizing tactics, so you can see consistent score improvements with confidence. Beyond the LSAT, I help applicants craft compelling, authentic personal statements that stand out regardless of numbers. I also offer resume editing and strategy: I recently received BigLaw offers in New York City before my 1L grades were released, an outcome I strongly attribute to how my resume told a clear and compelling story. When I first thought of going to law school, I thought it was a terrible idea. Student loans, bad job outcomes, and attorneys’ frequent malaise. But then I did the research. I learned how to crack the code of law school admissions, and understood how to achieve a legal career without breaking the bank. I'll never forget the day I set foot on Harvard Law School's campus. I hadn't gone to a brand-name undergrad. It seemed like everyone else at the admitted students day knew each other; I didn't know anyone. But it didn't matter. You don’t need connections to get into law school; you need strategy. I am a federal clerk and a graduate magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. I also hold a BA from Bard College, and am a PhD student in the Harvard sociology department. I know first-hand how stressful the JD application process is, and how to successfully navigate it. I know what admissions committees look for. And I know how to present your credentials—and build them—the way successful applicants do. As a coach, my approach is bottom-up. If you’re at the beginning of your application process, let's start by assessing your goals, generating a list of programs from there, and then thinking strategically about how to maximize your chances of admission at each program you apply to. If you’re further along, let’s look at your materials and work them into top shape. I was admitted to several top law schools with full-ride scholarships, and participated in several prestigious pre-law fellowships. I am uniquely equipped to support students with a goal of attending law school directly from undergrad (KJD), because I did so myself! After graduating from Cal Lutheran in just 3 years, I was an SEO Law Fellow before starting at Georgetown, where I am now working with our Corporate and Financial Law Organization, our Entertainment Law Society, and our International Economic Law Society. I'm a Stanford Law School grad working in business operations at an edtech startup. I applied to law school while I was an undergrad studying electrical engineering and was fortunate enough to be admitted to a number of top law schools, including Stanford, Yale, Harvard, and Chicago (where I was offered the Rubenstein scholarship). I'd love to help you with your law school application process, from building an application strategy all the way through the happy (and stressful!) decision of where to attend. If you're coming from a technical background, or you're interested in pursuing a joint degree program, my experience will be especially useful — but I work with all kinds of applicants.

I am a rising 3L at Stanford Law School. I love working with students to craft a cohesive, powerful narrative that reflects their accomplishments so they can gain admission to their dream law school or university. I take a holistic approach, taking time to understand my clients' background, personality, and goals. I do not let median GPAs or test scores or admission rates dictate my clients' application strategy or success. I can also guide students on how to discuss their race and ethnicity in our post-affirmative action reality. By closely studying the U.S. Supreme Court decisions Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v Harvard and Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v UNC overturning affirmative action, I've been able to help my clients discuss their race and ethnicity in ways that law school admissions offices can legally consider when reviewing their application. Throughout law school, I have completed 5 internships in the public, private, and non-profit sector including a Big Law internship, two state attorney general internships, a local government internship, and an internship at a leading international non-profit environmental advocacy organization. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy and a B.A. in Urban Studies. In undergrad, I worked as a research assistant and independent researcher while also serving as president of the Berkeley Urban Studies Student Association. I have coached undergrads through their law school application process and high school students through their college admissions process. I have helped undergrad and high school students get admitted to programs where they had well below-median GPAs and/or standardized test scores.
