Law school admissions is about more than numbers. I learned that firsthand as a first-gen applicant and reverse-splitter. I knew my personal statement and other written materials would need to contextualize my experiences and demonstrate why law school was the right path for me. Choosing the right stories and putting them into words led to outcomes I never imagined possible. I was rejected from just one of the 16 schools I applied to, and was admitted to Stanford Law School, my dream school. That admission opened doors I hadn't let myself imagine, from working in big law at two different firms to spending a summer on Apple's legal team. Since graduating from USC, I've guided dozens (if not hundreds) of applicants through the admissions process, helping them write compelling statements that got them into top law schools. I believe everyone's story is more unique than they realize, and my job is to help you find that story and tell it in the most authentic, genuine way possible. Welcome to my profile. I hold a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and bring extensive experience in law school admissions consulting. I am the Founder and Principal Consultant of CW Admissions, drawing on experience guiding more than 100 applicants through the law school admissions process across national admissions consulting organizations and nonprofit initiatives, as well as experience as an application reader at a top-ten law school. My work focuses on application strategy, narrative development, and overall positioning. I help applicants identify their strongest themes, evaluate whether their materials are working at the admissions level, and understand how their applications function as a whole. Beyond initial submissions, I advise clients on post-submission strategy, including waitlist communications, letters of continued interest, and scholarship negotiation. My approach is highly individualized and coach-driven, with an emphasis on judgment, clarity, and thoughtful decision-making in a competitive admissions landscape.

I have reviewed hundreds of law school applications, sat on the admissions committee and was part of the decision making team.

I have advised hundreds and hundreds of law school applicants over an almost twenty year period. I am an expert in law school admissions and have also published a book and a nationwide column about it. Many applicants that I have advised have been admitted to their top choice of law schools. Some of my former students have also received up to full scholarships to law school. I am also an expert on the subject of legal careers, as well as alternative legal careers. In addition I have taught several courses for students planning to apply to law school. I am a graduate of Brown University and Boston College Law School.
