Work with Kush
About
I grew up spending summers in India with my grandparents, experiences that shaped how I think about work, opportunity, and problem-solving. Seeing how much impact skill and judgment can have even in resource-constrained environments pushed me to pursue biomedical engineering at Duke, where I became interested in the intersection of healthcare, business, and innovation. That curiosity led me through early experiences in biopharma and venture capital, where I worked closely with scientists, founders, and operators and saw firsthand how ideas move from the lab to the real world. Over time, I realized I was most energized by the moments that required structured thinking, big-picture judgment, and translating complexity into decisions, which ultimately led me to strategy consulting as a place to explore a wide range of professional outcomes at scale. Today, I work as a Senior Strategy Analyst at Accenture, advising life sciences companies on high-stakes strategic and operating model decisions. Along the way, I have navigated competitive academic paths, standardized testing, consulting recruiting, and MBA admissions myself, including earning deferred admission to Kellogg. I enjoy helping others make sense of these same processes, especially when they feel confusing or intimidating. My approach as a coach is practical, honest, and grounded in lived experience. I focus on clarity, confidence, and strategy rather than shortcuts, and I aim to help clients make thoughtful decisions about their paths rather than just optimize for the next step.
Kush’s Management Consulting Qualifications
Experience level: Analyst
I broke into management consulting from a nontraditional background in engineering, and I coach candidates who want to do the same. I currently work as a Senior Strategy Analyst at Accenture Strategy, where I support Fortune 500 clients on high-stakes strategy, operating model, and transformation work. On the recruiting side, I have gone through the full consulting recruiting process myself, including resume screening, casing, and behavioral interviews, and I know what firms are actually looking for at the Analyst and Associate level. My coaching focuses on helping candidates turn strong but unfocused backgrounds into clear consulting stories. Many candidates struggle not because they lack ability, but because they do not know how to frame their experience, structure case answers, or communicate confidence under pressure. I help with resume positioning, case fundamentals, and interview mindset, especially for candidates coming from engineering, life sciences, or other technical paths. If you want practical, honest guidance from someone who has recently walked this path and understands how consulting firms evaluate junior candidates, I would be happy to help.

Why do I coach?
I coach because I would not be where I am today without the coaches and mentors who invested in me along the way. At every major transition in my education and career, whether it was navigating standardized tests, choosing between paths in healthcare and business, or preparing for consulting and MBA admissions, I benefited from people who took the time to offer honest guidance, perspective, and encouragement. I have always had deep respect for those mentors, not just for what they taught me, but for how they helped me see myself more clearly and make confident decisions. Coaching matters to me because it is a way to give that support back. I enjoy helping people slow down, cut through noise, and realize they are often closer to their goals than they think. Seeing someone gain confidence, clarity, or momentum because of a conversation or a small shift in approach is incredibly rewarding. For me, coaching is not about having all the answers. It is about helping others develop the judgment and confidence to navigate their own paths, just as others once did for me.
