About

I grew up spending summers in India with my grandparents, experiences that shaped how I think about work, opportunity, and problem-solving. Seeing how much impact skill and judgment can have even in resource-constrained environments pushed me to pursue biomedical engineering at Duke, where I became interested in the intersection of healthcare, business, and innovation. That curiosity led me through early experiences in biopharma and venture capital, where I worked closely with scientists, founders, and operators and saw firsthand how ideas move from the lab to the real world. Over time, I realized I was most energized by the moments that required structured thinking, big-picture judgment, and translating complexity into decisions, which ultimately led me to strategy consulting as a place to explore a wide range of professional outcomes at scale. Today, I work as a Senior Strategy Analyst at Accenture, advising life sciences companies on high-stakes strategic and operating model decisions. Along the way, I have navigated competitive academic paths, standardized testing, consulting recruiting, and MBA admissions myself, including earning deferred admission to Kellogg. I enjoy helping others make sense of these same processes, especially when they feel confusing or intimidating. My approach as a coach is practical, honest, and grounded in lived experience. I focus on clarity, confidence, and strategy rather than shortcuts, and I aim to help clients make thoughtful decisions about their paths rather than just optimize for the next step.

Kush also coaches for MBA, Management Consulting, GMAT, and ACT. View all.

Kush’s College Qualifications

I was admitted to Duke University’s highly selective Pratt School of Engineering and successfully navigated the college admissions process as a student coming from a rigorous STEM background. I understand how competitive top engineering and science programs have become, and how easy it is for strong students to blend together on paper. What helped me stand out was not just academic performance, but learning how to clearly communicate my interests, growth, and potential through my application. My approach to college coaching focuses on helping students translate who they are into a compelling, authentic story. Many students worry that they are “not unique enough” or that their profile does not fit a typical mold. I help students identify what actually differentiates them, whether through academics, projects, leadership, or personal experiences, and then shape those into clear narratives for essays, activities lists, and interviews. If you are aiming for competitive colleges and want guidance from someone who has recently gone through the process and understands how admissions decisions are really made, I would be excited to help.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I would not be where I am today without the coaches and mentors who invested in me along the way. At every major transition in my education and career, whether it was navigating standardized tests, choosing between paths in healthcare and business, or preparing for consulting and MBA admissions, I benefited from people who took the time to offer honest guidance, perspective, and encouragement. I have always had deep respect for those mentors, not just for what they taught me, but for how they helped me see myself more clearly and make confident decisions. Coaching matters to me because it is a way to give that support back. I enjoy helping people slow down, cut through noise, and realize they are often closer to their goals than they think. Seeing someone gain confidence, clarity, or momentum because of a conversation or a small shift in approach is incredibly rewarding. For me, coaching is not about having all the answers. It is about helping others develop the judgment and confidence to navigate their own paths, just as others once did for me.
