About
I’m an investment banking professional, Carnegie Mellon University graduate, and will soon be matriculating to Harvard Business School’s MBA program. For the last six years, I’ve been dedicated to helping others crack tough admissions processes: first for Ivy League and T20 universities, then for high finance roles on Wall Street, and now for acceptances to M7 business schools through both deferred and traditional admissions. Along the way, I’ve guided 60+ people to success and today, I focus exclusively on MBA coaching. Having grown up in Singapore and forged my path to the U.S., I know what it means to compete as the outsider. That experience taught me how to turn a nontraditional story into an edge. It’s also why I believe no one is “cookie-cutter.” Whether you come from banking, tech, policy, the military, or somewhere entirely different, I’ll help you cut through the noise and build a case that’s undeniable. Here’s what I care about when we work together: 1. What do you actually do? Forget titles — what’s the impact you’ve made? 2. What difference have you made beyond yourself? Show me how you’ve moved the needle. 3. What’s your vision? No matter your stats, let’s translate your ideas into a story worth betting on. It doesn’t matter if you’re a domestic or international applicant, or whether your résumé is filled with brand names or not. I take a direct, structured, and no-fluff approach, prioritizing sharp frameworks and candid feedback. I only work with passionate and committed candidates because I’ll meet you with the same intensity. I don’t believe in polishing a fake version of yourself; I believe in uncovering the through-line in your experiences and shaping a vision admissions committees can’t ignore. My experiences lie at the intersection of finance, technology, and public policy. I'm currently an Investment Banking Analyst for Jefferies in London. Previously, I worked for the Singapore government, honing economic policies to advance my country’s long-term growth. Prior to college, I served two years in the Singapore Army as a military sniper and paratrooper. I’ve been tested in arenas from the battlefield to Wall Street and I’ll bring that same grit to help you win under pressure in the MBA admissions game. If my profile resonates with you, let’s chat.

Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it feels like to be on the outside of the walls that guard elite opportunities and what it takes to break through them. Growing up in Singapore, I didn’t have a roadmap for U.S. universities, Wall Street jobs, or M7 business schools. At every step, I was told what I lacked: overrepresented non-diverse background, not the right pedigree, not the typical profile. I learned to turn those so-called disadvantages into differentiators, and in doing so, I discovered that the “walls” aren’t as solid as they look because you just need the right strategy to get through. That’s why I coach: too many talented people self-select out by thinking their story isn’t strong enough, and my mission is to break down that myth. I care less about whether you tick the boxes, and more about how we shape your experiences into something that demands attention. Coaching, for me, isn’t about sprinkling polish on perfect candidates; it’s about giving you the tools, mindset, and clarity to smash the walls in front of you and compete at the highest level.
