About
Hey Leland Community👋🏻 I'm Jeff. I'm a lifelong Texan living in the Dallas area with my wife of nearly 20 years and our four children. I’ve spent the last 15 years helping people and businesses turn their potential into progress. I started my career at Apple training and certifying service technicians, then built a career across training and enablement, sales, strategy, product, and transformation. Along the way, I’ve worked inside companies like Apple and Verizon and with organizations including 3M, Gusto, Kaiser Permanente, Equifax and many others. Today, I run Kingside, where I help businesses move from simply using AI to actually putting it to work. I work with leaders, operators, and builders who have an idea they want to make real, a workflow that’s taking too much time, or a problem they suspect AI could help solve. We start with the problem, not the technology. From there, I can help you think through the strategy, evaluate what’s possible, prototype an idea, design an automation or agent, or determine that you shouldn’t build anything at all. My strength has always been taking something messy or complicated, finding the structure inside it, and making it feel approachable enough to act on.
Jeff also coaches for Build with AI, AI Services, and AI for Sales & Marketing. View all.
Jeff’s AI for Product Development Qualifications
Experience level: Director
I’ve worked on AI products from both sides: inside a large enterprise bringing AI products from strategy through adoption, and as a founder designing and building products directly for clients and new ventures. At Verizon, I helped shape multi-quarter roadmaps for internal AI personalization products and worked across end users, product, engineering, IT, and PMO to move initiatives from idea through implementation. The AI-personalized experiences we launched produced measurable improvements in both click-through and conversion. Through Kingside, I’ve built and shipped AI agents, a multi-tenant CRM, lead and outreach systems, vision-AI applications, operational workflows, integrations, and model-evaluation infrastructure. I’ve also advised venture teams on model selection and AI product strategy. What makes my perspective a little different is the 15 years I spent in training, enablement, sales, and GTM before becoming a hands-on builder. I tend to think about the entire product problem: who it’s for, what job it needs to do, what the smallest useful version looks like, how much autonomy AI should have, and what has to happen for people to actually adopt it. I can help you pressure-test an idea, define the use case, scope an MVP, prototype it, make architecture and model decisions, design guardrails and evaluations, and build a practical roadmap from concept to something people can use.

Why do I coach?
There are few things I enjoy more than helping someone go from “I wonder if this is possible” to “I know what to do next.” That feeling has followed me throughout my career. I found it teaching technicians at Apple, developing salespeople and teams, advising business leaders, and now helping people make sense of AI. I love the moment when something that felt complicated, intimidating, or out of reach suddenly becomes understandable and achievable. AI makes that especially exciting to me because I believe its best use isn’t replacing what people are capable of—it’s giving them more room to do the work only they can do. If I can help someone eliminate the work that drains their time, make an idea real, or see a possibility they couldn’t see before, that’s enormously rewarding to me. I also think good coaching should leave you more capable than when you arrived. My goal isn’t to make you dependent on me. It’s to help you think more clearly, make better decisions, and leave with something you can actually use.
Work Experience

Senior Product Manager
Verizon
June 2025 - September 2026
I served as a Senior Manager for the AI Personalization team inside of Verizon's base management team where I was a product manager for our custom built AI content generation tool, Maestro. As a principle product owner for Maestro, I worked closely with our users and engineering team, and oversaw the product roadmap and strategy. During my time, I was a part of a large number of agentic tools that supported everything from ideation and content generation to campaign deployment and cross-functional process automation.
VP, Client Solutions
ELB Learning
November 2024 - June 2025
ELB Learning is a full-service workforce development partner that helps organizations create, deliver, administer, and optimize learning programs. I owned a $1.5M portfolio of enterprise clients, scoping and implementing AI-powered workflow strategies as well as core learning solutions for teams at Kaiser Permanente, Amazon, ExxonMobil, Visa, 3M, PepsiCo, and AMD. The work ran from pre-sales discovery, turning an ambiguous problem into a plan, timeline, and budget, through delivery and the change workshops that got teams to adopt what we built. During this period I also developed ELB's ATD chapter thought leadership, titled "Campaigns, Not Courses," the case for running learning like marketing. I was a part of both keynote addresses and podcast appearances on the topic.
Founder
Kingside Group
June 2024 - Present
Hiring Manager
Kingside is the AI consultancy I founded to help businesses get beyond experimenting with AI and start putting it to work. We help companies find the right opportunities, pressure-test what’s worth building, and turn those ideas into working systems. We’ve built agents, automations, custom applications, AI-powered sales and operational workflows, and integrations that connect the tools businesses already depend on. The philosophy is straightforward: start with the problem, build only what creates real value, and judge success by what changes for the business, not by how much AI was added.

Senior Sales Manager
Tradesmen International
January 2024 - November 2024
Interviewer
Tradesmen International is a PE-backed, labor management company that provides skilled craft workers to commercial, industrial and institutional job sites. I coached and onboarded 150+ new account executives across four verticals through a 90-day cohort program of direct coaching, daily live training, and role-play. Cohort graduates produced 20% more revenue and 18% larger deals than reps who came up outside the program, and six-month retention rose 26%. I wrote the curriculum, ran 100+ live sessions, and expanded the program to new territories and the inside sales team. This is where I learned that most performance problems are confidence and process problems wearing a skills costume.
Director of Sales
TSC
July 2018 - January 2024
Interviewer
The Starr Conspiracy is an Experience Agency for Work Tech brands. We create defining moments in brand, marketing, sales, product, and customer success. I spent six years selling strategy to enterprise software companies. I closed $2.1M against a $1.3M target in 2023, capping four straight years above $1M, with clients including Equifax, ServiceNow, Indeed, Gusto, SoFi, and Zendesk. The real education was the room: I led messaging, go-to-market, and account-based marketing workshops with executive teams at hundreds of SaaS brands, which is where I learned to turn what a leadership team knows in their gut into something their company can execute.
Education

Full Sail University
Bachelor's Degree, Music Business Studies
2010 - 2013
Full Sail was an amazing opportunity to craft a business-grade degree program about the aspects of music arts that fascinated me. I didn't end up pursuing the career path I expected when I first enrolled, but I still pull from the knowledge I gained there.
